Didn't know you could get sparkling Buckfast.

I thought it was a great game, fantastic performance from Inter and to an extent justice done after the fellah rolled around to get Motta sent off. Inter hardly went out to attack before that but from that point it was pure shut up shop and Barcelona couldn't break it down. Like quids says, maybe the media will stop fawning over their every move now.

Good luck to Fulham in Hamburg! Watched the lap of honour and pitchside interviews and boy did they enjoy the moment!

Shame about Liverpool having to play extra time and morale now totally shattered from that late Forlan strike as it'll be almost impossible now to put up any resistance on Sunday.

Commiserations to all you Liverpool fans. You must be feeling pig sick after that. Bit like how I felt after the FA Cup semi-final with Portsmouth. I blame that magpie on the pitch but you have a perfect chance to redeem yourselves on Sunday but you'll be thinking that might let Man Utd in to win the Premiership and you won't be wanting that will you.

Brilliant result for Fulham. For me Roy Hodgson is manager of the season whether he wins the final in Hamburg or not.

:)

I've got a nagging feeling that Chelseas will win this weekend then lose to Wigan and hand us the title anyway!

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
