Soft, but you would have been screaming for it if it was at the other end.

Stokes should have walked for the assault on Papac in the first minute. Samaras cheeky wee knee in the back of McGregors head, Ki's assault on Naismith all missed by the ref... from our point of view, maybe McCulloch was lucky to stay on.

Thought the referee was very inconsistent, but at the end of the day Rangers were the better team.

Not surprising to see TLB already moaning about the ref. Celtic FC never defeated always cheated.

I said above the referee was good and was fair but the penalty decision was poor and everyone on Sky said the same, former Rangers players included.

Best team won. But the referee made an honest mistake at a key time on the penalty.

Can't say fairer than that and I won't get involved with you in tit for tat.

Can you let us all know what TLB means?

Thats terrible. No matter what your sporting affiliation may be, you can't condone such mindless behaviour. As Chris Kamara would say, Unbelievable!!!!! Celtic should at least issue a statement condemning such behaviour.

It happens on both sides. Both Celtic and Rangers have bigoted elements to their support. I don't think that is any secret.

Obviously the police will track these people down and convict them, if at all possible.

Hugh Dallas once had his windows broken after refereeing an Old Firm game and he said he knew who had done it. It was his neighbour who was a Celtic fan and he was round the next day to fix his windows and apologise. No charges were pressed. Its depressing that these things happen but thats how heated things can become on Old Firm days in a city split by religion.

I know Rangers fans aren't angels... but all this threatening refs does seem to come down a one-way street...

As you quite rightly mention MM - Hugh Dallas was a victim.

There has also been George McBride, Jim McCluskey and the Private Detective, Dougie McDonald and now these two most recent cases.

The SFA have to act... Lennon, in a position of responsibility, should not be making public remarks about referees in the lead up to the game.

He's also just written to the SFA to complain about Sunday. Who the hell does he think he is????

With spurs defensive problems it's hard to see how they can keep a clean sheet. Spurs must be praying that Bale doesn't get injured, without him they may get another tonking.

    • Dishing the dirt is generally fine when it comes to politicians and in Farage's case he often deserves it but  nothing illegal  has been done. It is not illegal for him to give his partner a sizeable amount of money with which to buy a house and have it registered in her name. He is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger and so he most likely is making plans to minimise IHT. There is a sliding scale for IHT but basically a gift is free of IHT if the gift is made 7 years before the donor dies. Farage is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger. In 7 years time, if he lives that long, he will be 71 years old. Given that he smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish, his odds on getting beyond 71  years may be pretty slim.  A similar  process is followed by the "bank of mum and dad"  where parents  give money to their kids to fund purchase of a property. Many who are not cash rich will mortgage their home and so release equity to fund their kids property. We did it as have many of our friends.
