Perhaps it wouldn't do Scottish football any harm if two of the old firm games were played abroad. It may generate more interest in the game in Scotland and there would be a few places internationally where it would generate local interest I'm sure.

A couple of interesting observations from the Arsenal game yesterday.

Firstly, the Bendtner goal. It was a nice touch that after all the shite he got for miss kicking what was a very difficult volley, on the full, he not only smiled about it but got the chance to have a bit of banter back with the Hudd fans after scoring.

Secondly, what a dive! If that had of been a United player certain people on this forum would have been shooting steam out of their ears and bashing their keyboard until their fingers bled.

Thirdly, that penalty run up. I'm sure there were also certain people on here who savaged Ronaldo for similar tactics with a stuttering (and possibly illegal) run-up.

Like I said before far too sensitive bordering on paranoia. I watched the fake Ronaldo and his multi millionaire buddies at Real Madrid get beaten by Osasuna last evening. And surprise surprie, because things didn't go his way, the failing arms, the rolling eyes and looks to heaven were the order of the day. Same old Chrissy boy.

Sandperson, have you ever stopped to think why people make comments about Man Ure and penalties. The alarmingly regularity with which they are either given penalties or appeals from lesser clubs are waved away, and the fact they are inexorably linked with favourable decisions, may colour such comments. Or do we ALL just make it up as we go? Jeez

They're actually proposing to reduce the SPL to 10 teams to avoid the end of season 'split' which caused all sorts of problems i.e. the top 6 and the bottom 6. I think they concluded that a larger league just wasn't viable.

Ah, Man Ure. One of my favourite of your clever little word plays. It's like Stephen Fry is on the forum. I didn't mention the regularity of penalties I mentioned the cheating of one of your players and the fact that the penalty taker took a stuttering run-up, as you would have done had the roles been reversed. As far as cheating is concerned, Man Ure are masters at it as we all know, as far as I'm concerned it was a legit pen, which is more than be said of those your shower are awarded. Now let it lie.

Anna didn't use it for a good while, I didn't use it for the vast majority of last season, Red Devil seems to have gone, several others hardly use it, and Quids has now gone for a while at least, and I suspect this thread had at least some part to play in that.

I know Jah, I'm not saying it's just between Atila and SP, but SP does seem to get off on winding him up further, then acting all wounded.

I have defended Atila before, and I'm not doing that now. When he came back, I thought he was making an effort to play nice, but that has gone out of the window. I am not putting SP in the same category, but if I was as volatile as Atila, SP would have me spitting deathers too.

They are not as bad as each other. Emerson/Atila is the clear troll who constantly uses antagonistic posts.

Your suggestion is that people sit on their hands? From what I see most of the time people don't respond but sometimes react to the bait or dare mention something about Arsenal. The solution is not to for people sit on their hands, (too many are doing that already by not contributing to the thread) or to criticise people for occasionally responding to Emerson's bait. The solution is to ban Emerson.
