Emerson Crane
The most well connected and in the know pundit for me is Guillem Balague. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/283/#findComment-487906 Share on other sites

????
Funnily enough I agree about Collymore - for a bloke who I'd always marked down as a tool, he's made me think again. I also like Dury and.....unfashionably, Lawrenson. Green's a cliche, Motson was well well past his sell buy date and MOTD crew are generally far too chummy and close to the players IMO, although Dixon shows some promise. Emerson Crane
Torres is worth ?70m in Rafas' opinion. Well he may have a point, if Carroll is worth ?35m and Bent is worth ?24m, what are the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta worth? ????
Messi's value would be about ?200 Million! Look how many goals he's got this season. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/283/#findComment-487915 Share on other sites

Keef
I like Adrian Charles, he's more on our level, like a bloke in the pub. Too much analysis is killing the game, because things don't happen in slow motion on the pitch. Unless of course John Terry is running somewhere. ????
I got interviewed bu Adrian Chiles once...long time ago before either of us was famous ;-). And although the interview was on something very boring about economics we had a good chat about West Brom and West Ham before and he was alright Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/283/#findComment-487919 Share on other sites
Emerson Crane
Adrian Chiles comes across as being the sort of fella that you can have a decent chin wag with about footy. murphy
Chiles great on MOTD 2 but not so good on ITV so far but his panel don't help him.Beglin - too critical of players and dullGreen - too critical of players, referees, managers, traffic, weather etc etc was much better years agoCollymore - shouts too much and if you followed his opinions over the course of a season he always contradicts himselfEnjoy listening to Pearce (now he has toned down) John Murray and John Campion is OK - and Nevin and Marcotti.Still enjoy listening to Jimmy Armfield - he's comfy, warm, reassuring, like listening to the football with your grandad sat by the fire. Like Peter Jones and Bryan Butler he'lll be missed when he's gone.Neville has done TV before and was pretty good although surprise, suprise he didn't always know when to shut up. Atticus
Murphy, spot on! esp Arnfield.Just to add about Colin Murray. I did my utmost to dislike him, professional kopite etc... but unfortunately I think he's really good, asks questions from the fans' perspective. The Friday night prog on 5 live with Nevin and Groves is fantastic, a breadth of fresh air.On tele though he seems intent on being slightly irreverent, probably to make his mark, definitely better on radio, for now.
