Stoke boss Tony Pulis believes Demba Ba is an accident waiting to happen after West Ham agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal for the Senegal striker. Ba's ?7.1m move to Stoke collapsed when he failed a medical because of a knee injury, and Pulis said he could not have gone through with the deal in good faith.


No sour grapes there then.

If he just scores one more goal for us and it keeps us up it's money well spent!

I wondered how much of a risk West Ham were taking given Stoke had turned him down because of his knee problem, but if he continues with his 'shoot on sight'* policy, should go a long way towards saving West Ham. And yes, Pulis is probably bitter about a couple of results going against him of late.

Pulis is Hedging in case of two Ba hatricks in their two games against us coming up

Can only presume that as Carew is on loan his dodgy knees weren't subject to a medical.


Forgot you had two games against them - Britannia Stadium's such a nice place to visit.

Dead right we need to be careful. Too many players carrying knocks for too long and today was a very bad day at the office (cliche no.33 in a series of...). Rumours we are prepared to throw our FAC QF at home against Bolton next week (obviously not official rumours).


Wigan yep. Wolves and Blackburn the other two.

You Hammers fans should beware of Tottenham Hotspur losing to Wolves tomorrow. These are the sort of fixtures that are our particular type of banana skin especially as some of the players may well be thinking about the AC Milan game next week. Obviously, I'm sincerely hoping we win both but I know only too well what we're like.

Good to see that, according to the BBC website, Rooney decided to administer his own punsishment for that latest act of thuggery; "Last month Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney went unpunished by referee Mark Clattenburg after appearing to elbow Wayne Rooney for elbowing Wigan's James McCarthy."

I think you should read your post again Jah.Banana skin suggests a superiority complex. Wolves are better than that.

      Initially, when all the discussion took place at Bradbury some of existing building was to be demolished which meant that 3 flats would go but these residents would have to wait until new building erected to be housed. No indication has been given as to where people would be placed during building. I am glad that the tree is to remain - Bradbury residents contacted various environmental groups to lobby for tree to remain. I gather that there is likely to be a question of restricted views to be made by Wood Vale residents as 5 stories is significantly higher than current building.
