What goes on in the mind of John Terry? He didn't win the CL for Chelsea and you could say he nearly lost it for them in the SF. But does that stop him getting kitted out and collecting the cup? No, but it should have. It wasn't his party to gatecrash.

Well done WH on getting up. Maybe Sam will get some credit now.

Oh dear, two edits UDT. Fine tuning I suppose.

And tghe winner of the Champions League?...Bale's agent. :))

West Ham played poorly and Blackpool missed two sitters in the first 15 mins but the 3 best/most consistent teams (by some margin- 10 points) have all got promoted.

I've seen the Hammers Live in two Cup Finals and 3 play off finals and have to say that in terms of the actual matches (ie during it) it's an endurance rather than a pleasure. I enjoyed about 5 minutes of yesterday's match max - the rest of teh day was fantastic however

So what's your point? Heaven knows what small minded activity goes on inside your mind. I tend to do most of my editing after posting rather than before. The previous edits were to remove the word 'the' and a 'space'.

Anyway back to your inability to spell the word consistent. It's funny that on another thread you said that the problem with this country is that people can't spell. :))

I tend to agree, but interestingly, Roy Keane (who never lifted the cup) thinks he should have had the right as team captain.

Sooo, Torres... What a knob. Has not gone down well with the Chelsea supporters who, to be fair to them, stuck by him through a massive dry spell.

Will be interesting to see whether he's still there next season. I always thought he seemed pretty decent, even when he walked away from Liverpool, but he has come over as q right brat.

Yep, as a Spurs fan I was a little gutted but you have to hand it to Drogba another final, another priceless goal(or 2 if you count the winning pen), the mans awesome. Shame JT had to come along and make it all about him. Still if this scenario was ever going to unfold the way it did then it was always going to be Spurs who suffered. We're starting to look a little hapless. Channel 5 on a thursday night again it is. Ho-hum. :-S

Roy Keane, the man who deliberately injured an opponent and was glad about it. Yes, somehow I think it's safe to disregard anything that coont has to say.

Drogba finally confirms Chelsea exit.

Love him or hate him, it's hard not to be impressed by this.

    • Dear families,   My name is Eleanor. I’ve worked in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for the past eight years, and I’m about to begin an Infant Observation course in preparation for psychotherapy training. I’m looking for a baby to observe as part of this training.   The observation involves me visiting a baby and their parent for one hour a week over two years, with the aim of deepening my understanding of early emotional and developmental processes. Taking part is a generous contribution to the training of future child psychotherapists — ultimately supporting the mental health of children and families.   Both of my own children were observed as babies, which I found to be a really positive experience. Having an observer gently witness my babies’ development helped me notice their weekly changes in a new way, and I came to appreciate the calm, consistent presence of a trained observer. I was sad when the observations ended!   If you — or someone you know — is expecting a baby due before the end of February*, I would love to hear from you. You can contact me at +44 7977 910018 or [email protected].   Best wishes, Eleanor
    • I rarely iron, so my massive ironing board is just taking up unnecessary space. Does anyone have one of those little ones that you can use on an ordinary table?
    • It's happened twice today, I've never had this happen before! Here's the second one. All I did was try to agree with a post in the lounge!
    • Now I'm having my hand slapped by some forum bot 😮 All I did was try to add a laughing emoji to ianr's post. This is obviously a message from the universe to tell me to get off my phone and get back to working my way through my very lengthy to do list 🤣 ETA: And it's just happened again when I tried to agree with a post in the lounge. OK universe, I give in. Back to the hideous task list.
