Not sure about that Otta but at nearly 38 his best days are far behind him. Could have been a good short term deal to help pass on his experience to the younger players but other than that maybe he's just looking for a last good payday before retirement. Class player though when he was in his prime.

He may not be likeable (in fact quite the remove) but Ronaldo is absolutely a Hall of Fame candidate and only currently shaded by a whisker by Messi.

Nope...they play in red, they're in the bottom three with 1 point from a possible 9, have lost 5 of their last 8 league games and have won only 1 of their last 7 league games at home.

Good win for England last night. Poor opposition I know, but in the past we have struggled to win such games as convincingly. Another win against the Ukraine should set us up nicely...

Fine yes, but there was a 20 minute period after the first goal when England gave the ball away easily (including long punts upfield by the Hart which I thought were meant to be things of the past).

They also looked too scared to close down their opposite numbers giving them the kind of free reign, for a while, that - were they a better team - well, enough said.
