More than aware of these "epitahs", since I've followed the club since 68, unlike Tick Tac who changes allegiances to suit his mood. Proper plum. If I were to come out with the dross that he trots out, I'd be told to be less antagonistic and confrontational, he, on the other hand, is seen as a bit of a joker. The man is hilarious, just like his clubs exploits in the CMPL, ooops sorry, I forgot that they aren't in it any more. Now I promise to leave it, provided Victoria Plum drops it.

As it happens, and a rarity among West Ham fans, I've a reasonable amount of time for Lampard, he strikes me as petty bright for an English footballer, and apart from the horrible episode after 9/11, tends to act with decorum and dignity. He's given West Ham fans a fair bit of stick but has faced some pretty hideous abuse off them (including when he played for us - "daddy's boy" etc), his dad was unceremoniously sacked by the club with no notice was he ever going to want to carry on playing for us then?

Still praying Chelsea finish 5th or 6th ....even if Spuds get the spot, mmmm, maybe

When Henrik rode into town and took your one chance of the big cup....

Aris boasts a remarkable statistic in European football; the club has not lost a home game in European competition in 42 years, having gone 25 games undefeated at the Kleanthis Vikelidis stadium. This record was notably maintained when Aris defeated Europa League champions Atletico Madrid on 16 September 2010, Aris' 22nd undefeated home game in Europe. The team then went on to tie Bayer Leverkusen to keep the record intact once more.

From wiki.

At last. It's good to know that I'm not the only one. Whatever Hammers fans say he was one of the best box to box players I've seen at Upton Park. His position wasn't really helped with sacking of his Father and of course his uncle.

But of all the clubs Abramovich had to pick, he picked them tossers.

Keef - with more people like you on this forum, there would be no fun at all.

If you can dish it out you should be able to take it. My personal view is that anyone who can get annoyed about football banter needs to take a good look at themselves.

Nope, I always had time for Frank at Upton Park. I thought he was a consistent and talented performer for us for years and got very annoyed at the abuse he received from the fans, all that lumplard rubbish, it was so self defeating.

Both Franks were treated pretty shamefully ..err...frankly... so good luck to him. But yeah, the whole Chelsea badge kiss thing is pretty annoying...i mean...chelsea...

    • Can you explain why some residents would be made homeless if they are building more accommodation?
    • Hate people who let off loud fireworks.  We had neighbours two doors down who used to let off the extremely loud fireworks in their back garden.   This was usually, but not always, on the days around Guy Fawkes and New Year’s.  It was torture.  I felt as if I was in the middle of them and it seemed as if they were directly outside our windows. I often involuntarily screamed as they were so loud and startling.  The dog was petrified and I was worried they would crash into the house or garden. Thankfully they’ve moved and taken their firework obsession with them.  I know someone whose dog collapsed and died during a bout of neighbourly fireworks.  Many dogs and cats go missing during firework season due to trying to escape from them.
    • Hi, We are looking at a property on Croxted Road near the Turney Road across the Garden Centre). I wanted to get people's sense on: 1. Road and train-line noise (house is on side sandwiched between street and the rail line) 2. Secondary schooling - lots of good state primaries, but I don't think there is a catchment for a good secondary The proximity to Herne Hilla and Dulwich Villages is nice as are properties on that street, but bit concerned about the above especially given required mortgage levels we might not be able to do private secondary. Thanks
