Perhaps because those others aren?t in court, where people are identified by their real names?

To be fair, they are pretty much all variations on their given names, most commonly using their middle name instead of the first name. As for George Osborne, if my parents had called me Gideon, I'm not sure it would have taken me as long as that to change it by deed-poll.

They're all using their given surname, and either their middle name or a nickname as the first name.

"Tommy" uses a completely made up name, so quoting his real name alongside it seems fair.

Are you sympathetic to his cause, uncleglen?

9 and a half weeks is all he'll serve

9 Months given. 4 and a half to serve (I thought that would be if he showed good behavior but seems it's how it is), 2 months +already served.

He's been let off easy even though he claims he'll be murdered in jail (he won't be)

According to Wiki (ermmm) "The name Tommy Robinson is a pseudonym taken from a prominent member of the "Men In Gear" (MIG) football hooligan crew, which follows Luton Town Football Club.[38] The member named Tommy Robinson wrote two books about his 25 years of hooliganism"

"his cause"....all he has done is highlight the activities of certain muslims ...if you wish to learn more watch Three Girls the docudrama about Rochdale groomers...on Netflix- and it was made by the BBC...a 3 part mini series. And the perps are STILL in the UK as they have a Human Right to a family life according to the EC

Hideous comments - not even a prerence this time. Maybe emboldened by a Boris/Trump world.

Tommy Robinson, or rather Stephen Yaxley-Lennon hasn't merely highlighted the activities of certain muslims. He has led a crusade to bait gullible hooligans to hate ALL muslims. He does not care about the victims of CSA. He has used them to fuel his real agenda which is a crusade against an entire religion. And yes, why is the vile apologism of Uncleglen still here?
And just to add that anyone in central London today, around Westminster would have seen what despicable thugs follow the likes of Tommy Robinson. Up to 200 hooligans attacked the remain protesters outside Parliament and the press at College Green. These are not people who believe in freedom of speech or difference of opinion. They are boot boys who beat the crap out of anyone with a different view. So Uncleglen, you can go do one with your defence of a rabble rousing thug who today, got just what he has been asking for.

    • 🎄Are you flying solo for Xmas?   🎄Let’s be honest-it can be weird. But maybe it’s also a chance to just …chill.   🎄How are you planning to treat yourself and make the day feel good?   🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅All ideas welcome.    ✌️Drop yours below. 🎄🎄🎄
    • Until the licencing laws changed in the late eighties, pubs were only allowed to open Sunday hours on Christmas Day, so 12 'til 2, and the majority didn't open in the evening unless it was for a 'private party'. But that's another story. The landlord of my old local used to let everyone double or treble up at last orders so that you could avoid having to watch the Queen's Speech with your Nans at three o'clock. Dulwich Tandoori is open Christmas Day for those who don't fancy Gail's.  'Festive Flavours', apparently.
    • My nominations are the Goblin Band at the Goose, and the Errol Linton Trio  at the Dulwich Folk Club.  I'm not sure what other venues we have in the immediate area.  I rarely do the big (1000 plus) places any more.  Your nominations? And a special mention to Truthpaste, at least one member is local and their video was recorded around here.  But I caught them in North London.  And please see the link to the BBCs recording of the Copper Family at the Castle a few weeks ago~: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002ng53
