I feel a bit sorry for Kitty - granted she's not the most endearing character, but she can sing. Johnny was gracious in defeat, guess he can go back to claiming incapacity benefits now for that debilitating back condition....

How on earth is Frankie still there, he can't sing, and I think the videos they're showing of him out drinking/snogging randoms would have put off a lot of the teenage girls voting for him?

Can't muster the energy to care who wins or goes out of the current UK crop, whereas the American version has several superlative voices. Check Josh Krajcik's audition piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BWPbIdFlvs He just goes on getting better, and he's not the only one.
Now Johnie's out don't give a damn - it's a sign of the times that the zeitgeist can't be bothered to do a Wagner online campaign to keep him in as a riposte to the Syco evil empire. It's hey day has passed - the plebs require new bread and circuses as we swirl around the whorl pool of Great Depression 2.

I suggest you watch it next week, so you can contribute something more positive to this thread.

Favourite act, bottom two etc.

You never know, you might actually enjoy it!

Hmmmmm I know.

Anyway, how are your dogs getting on aquarius moon

NETTE:-S

Watched it for the first time for a few weeks - Janet has not moved on at all and the cheek of Mr Barlow asking for acts to do something different when Marcus does the cheeky chappie soul anthem every week!

But, LOL at Tulisa apparently a star of RnB and a MOBO winner? saying "I didn't really recognise the song" to one of the acts....the song ladies ans gentleman being Aretha Franklin's RESPECT.....I guess that's what you get with teenage judges.

And also only recognise 3 celebrities in the Jungle celebrity thing one less each year

Hopefully this lot of shows (that have entertained me in the past) are now all approaching past sell by date - feels it to me.

I thought Craig would win it, so what do I know.

Janet will have the Irish vote, so hard to get rid of.

Amelia has talent, but she is scary for a 16 year old! Like her rocky voice though, although Gary Barlow was right when he said the song this week was juuuuust a bit too high for her.

Tut tut, quids. Being such an aficionado of Ms Franklin you should have noticed the song was 'Think', not 'Respect'.

Especially when it was written in 20ft high letters at the back of the stage...

    • https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
    • Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
