Forest Hill Road Post Office.

Does anyone know if the post office counter is open, if not do they know when it will be open?

Any info much appreciated.

As far as I remember they?re aiming to re-open under new management mid July. Went to the PO on Crossthwaite Ave today to avoid the queue on lordship lane- it?s a drive but we?ll worth it

Thank you for the update, incidentally I called in on Monday 02/07/18,shopfitters said would be open 04/07/18, however they are still closed.

there was a sign on the window on the weekend saying that they would be open today, however, I left for work too early to see if they had...

It?s open. What a shambles! Queues out the door (not for the PO counter) unhelpful staff, poor layout...

I couldn't agree more. I used the post office for the first time yesterday since it had changed hands and was so disappointed with the changes. I'll be using the post office in Honor Oak in future.

They were perfectly friendly and helpful when I went in yesterday to buy some stamps and envelopes. Give them a chance!

Yeah, not great service today but give them a chance. It?s unfair to write them off when they?ve just opened. Give them a few weeks before you judge. I certainly will, despite some early failings.

Just been in. Staff were nice and very helpful. But an awful layout and it's like another convenience shop now. I loved it before. Much less stationary products now.Not impressed.

I think it's horrible. The old Post Office was really nice.

Does anyone know if the Forest Hill Rd PO takes parcels on Sunday, or is it just open as a convenience store / newsagent?

According to the PO site, FH Road is open all day on a Sunday for PO services.

I wouldn?t necessarily trust that site. I went to collect a parcel one evening when the PO was meant to be open but it was just the shop part still open.
