Hello all,

For those whom are lucky enough to have a garden in ED, now is the time we are using these spaces more and more. Gardens often generate waste which can not simply go into the brown recycling wheelie bin. What do residents do when they are faced with un - recyclable garden waste?

Virtually no waste goes to landfill these days. Green bin waste in Southwark is sorted into recyclates or material used for fuel.

    • Hi She’s chipped and spayed and let out in the back garden. She hadn’t found her way to the front yet (which would have to be via other people’s back gardens) - but we’re worried she now has and has got lost.  Do your scanners pick up any microchipped cats? Thanks Emma
    • I was recommended George McMillan of  Rodemption Pest Solutions as I had a wasps nest in my roof. I just wanted to say he was very efficient, super conscientious and a very nice guy. My wasps nest is history! his number is 07977 522294
    • Hi, Is Linda spayed & microchipped? & was she let out into the road or garden? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes, so will keep an eye out for her.
    • Have you thought about applying for a Taxicard for her? They have black cabs, although also Addison Lee so you'd have to request a black cab. The service is subsidised to the user for a set number of journeys each month. She can have someone with her for journeys. You apply through your local borough.
