Getting to Westfield Stratford

Can anyone tell me how to get there on public transport please?

Overground train from Forest Hill to Canada Water, then Jubilee Line to Stratford. About 30 minutes approx.

You don't even have to leave Startford Tube Station. When you leave the jubilee line train you follow the signs straight ahead and go along a covered walkway which takes you in the bowels of the Westfield beast. Enjoy!

Its 30 mins door to door from Honor Oak to Stratford by train, nice journey too!

Yes its very similar. Don't know why it isn't called EastField! Apparently theres a lovely HSBC there- Well they have to spend their profits somewhere!

I am thinking of going, just to have a look, the same as I did when I went to see the Westfield in west London.

I thought I could get the 185 to Lewisham, then get the Docklands Light Railway to the shopping centre.

Will this work out?

Westfield is the company name, they own and run malls in NZ and Australia - if the question on why it isn't called Eastfield was a serious one.

Global is the Company name yet their Radio Stations all have different names. Just Like Currys PC World all owned by same co yet they have different names. Yes klord put a wiki reference.

did it the other day,

go to honor oak park station, overground to Canada water (12mins) and then jubliee line to stratford (20mins). From stratford station you can directly access westfield, its by far the quickest and most relaxed journey there.

If (like me) you don't live anywhere near Honor Oak or Forest Hill, you can get the train to London Bridge followed by the Jubilee Line. I wouldn't advocate messing around with buses.

From East Dulwich overground to London Bridge then Jubilee Line to Stratford. Forest Hill is a long way from E.D. on the bus!

Had i been looking for stinky fish or Vietnamese nail bars I would have certainly stayed local but I needed to buy a sofa.

Took the route as described but parked at Honor Oak Park (can't negotiate getting to the Overground with two small children without using the car).

It was as easy as pie
