Noticed him being filmed at the bottom of North Cross Road at lunchtime today. Anyone know what for? I would have gone and asked but became embroiled in an embarrassing screaming match with a b**** who clonked my ankle with her pram. Honestly, the one time I have a film star's complete attention!

Film crew will be doing a shoot in 'Budgeons' with Mr Spall sometime thing week as well - can't remember exactly which day(s).

Mrs *Bob* heard it at the hairdressers, so I'm guessing it must be true.

Got his autograph in Bejam's - Iceland now - years ago. He used to live up in Cranston Road, Forest Hill, before he moved to Honor Oak. A great actor and very nice man.

I used to chat with Timothy Spall on a regular basis when he played 'Bottom' at the RNT's version of 'Midsummer's Night Dream'. I was just getting the Z read from the bar till but he was always friendly and made time for myself and anyone else who talked to him.

The Hamlet's ground is the unit base; it's just lighting trucks by Budgens. Still there this morning in the same location, which is rare for an ad, unless it's for Budgens, which is unlikely as it's not exactly a flagship store. Hmm...

I think he's a quality actor. His kid (not sure if it was a son or daughter) was at Aske's when I was there (a few years below me), and there was always a bit of a clamour when he'd turn up to concerts and things... I always thought it was cool that he made the effort.
