New Mum, new to the area

I've just moved to the Nunhead/East Dulwich/Peckham Rye Park area with a 3 week old baby boy and would be interested to hear from anyone who would like to meet up and the various clubs/groups going on. I missed out on the whole ante-natal/NCT thing so it would be great to meet other mums.

Welcome to the area. Have a look at the Winter babies club thread, there is a meet up on Monday mornings at The Gardens cafe. I have an 11w old boy and am happy to meet up in the afternoons if that is easier - I am only just starting to get out and about in the mornings now and found it impossible in the early days!

I'm just about starting to feel like i want to get out and about, so it would be great to meet up. The afternoons may be easier for me, so how about later this week or next week. I might try and go to the Gardens cafe next Monday- what time do people meet?

i live in nunhead and have a 4 week old baby girl, hoping to start leaving the house soon so would love to meet up some time! i havnt breast fed in public yet so once i get the hang of that i cant wait to get out of the house!

Look up the spring babies club (March/April/May) too. A few have just had their babies over the last few weeks (many of us due any day) so we'll be meeting up very soon with new babies for our first ventures out!

I run a Friday morning drop-in session for newborns to 6 months in ED. This involves massage, music and moves. The class is a fun way to learn massage as well as nursery rhymes, action songs and gentle moves.
