Looks like I hate them all. Pretty accurate, then.

The Guardian had a much better one, as it told you why you agreed with any particular candidate. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/interactive/2012/apr/27/london-mayor-candidate-chooser

I tend to feel that the more locally focussed the election the less concerned about broader party partisan politics one should be and the more focussed on specific issues.

Either way the above site tells me not to touch Boris with a barge pole, and though the buffoon is weirdly lovable I intend to be true to that advice.

Ken ranked second on the web test but he's actually behind UKIP for me, odious little turd.

So gay, pot smoking rozza it is! Not that he has a cat in hell's chance.

No surprise here for me, but I'm not keen on Ken. I'll still vote Labour, but for me Ken's too old and too tainted and obviously, along with Boris, has done too much to turn London politics away from policy and more towards personality. It was a shame (for Labour) that Oona King performed so poorly in the hustings.

And, after last night, I'm even less keen on him - his team posted campaign material through my letterbox at about 10.30pm and woke one of kids (6)

I'm not sure who I'd vote for.

Boris is strangely likeable and hasn't done much damage to London. However, the only reason why I wouldn't vote for him is that the Conservatives may see his victory as a vindication of their own policies. The airport in the Thames Estuary is a ompletely daft idea. Links with News International is a serious concern. He also seems to be piggybacking on past central government policies such as the Olympic legacies.

No doubt about Ken's credentials. A man with vision and fight for London's corner. But there are concerns with his behaviour in office. Improving the rail link between Peckham, Camberwell, Nunhead and Victoria is another plus for me.

Brian Paddick has some interesting ideas including extending the Bakerloo line further into South London, Cross River trams and Brixton interchange with the East London line extension. His experience in the met will obviously be useful as Mayor.

The Greens have some great policies but will Londoners take the leap of faith to vote for them?

Green - most of the other candidates are adopting green policies anyways and to be fair to Southwark Council, they have a brand new refuse and recycling facility now and it really is up to us to be 'green' and recycle.

If She got in (don't make me say the name of that daft woman) life would get a whole lot worse. She really does live in another fairy world.

    • This is NEXT WEDNESDAY 11 June! Just turn up if you prefer not to give prior notice! The Palmerston from  7pm, turn left as you come in! (If you have been hiding under a rock, The Palmerston is the pub on Lordship Lane on the corner of North Cross Road).
    • Yes, at first I assumed that the bin men had taken flowering plants from my front garden while getting at my brown food bin, instead of reaching over the wall. I was very confused as I couldn't see any obvious gaps. Surely taking Toadflax from a resident's wall is not part of the council's remit? What next, are they going to come round and trim hedges in front gardens? 🤬
    • Oh, so that was the council.  Someone ripped some lovely flowering Toadflax from our wall and threw it in the gutter.  I assumed that a child had done it.  How strange?
