I have decided to go last minute. As of yesterday when I saw the weather. And HMV were practically giving tickets away. It will be the shortest one ever but I can't wait to see my all time blues hero Buddy Guy tomorrow night.

If anyone can record BBC 4 at 22.30 on Sat night please let me know. As you'll see me in a muddy field with my banner "Buddy Guy Is God". Slightly blasphemous. But appropriate for the greatest electric blues player in the world. The man who Hendrix learned from. Total Genius. I cannot wait!

This sounds about right to me. Not always a bad thing, I love the Raconteurs and the Kings of Leon.

yes was quite something. that was fab. whole things upped a notch internet wise too. new 'glastonbury player. very impressive. looking forward to totomorrows. <- spelling says it all. whole thing enjoyable from "couldnt go there this year' perspective.

Well I won't win any prizes from my mates for arriving saturday and leaving Sunday this year but I had a great time. Trains were empty Saturday and luxurious first class was only a tenner more. Shuttle straight to the site - and bone dry! Not a hint of mud. The papers made a lot about a some shower on Thursday night but it was nothing.

And for me a genius result as my Buddy Guy Is God banner was all over BBC4 - the cameras loved it. And Buddy put in a fine performance! He truely is god!

Just picked my exhausted daughter up last night. She reckons it was her best glasto ever! She did the veteran thing of not seeing many bands just wandering and enjoying the smaller tents in the sunshine. Lucky so and so!

Well, you def went at the right time then MrBen. It was mud and rain central on Thursday night (the night I had most sleep thank God) and Friday daytime. Was so good to see the sun and be able to sit on the ground again. Hallelujah!

Leonard Cohen was transcendentally brilliant and there were lots of surprising and wonderful revelations for this old bird such as Rachel Unthank and the Winterset and Sons and Daughters. Everything else was merely fantastic.
