*Bob*
Once again, your innate intuition navigated the impenetrable the fog to discover the truth. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23641-euro-2012/page/8/#findComment-552082 Share on other sites
Undisputedtruth
With you, *Bob*, it's very easy. I can't recall a single post where you've said anything of notable substance. *Bob*
Does that include the year or so before you cottoned-on..? You know.. Before I started making it really, really obvious?Guess not.I think I should leave it now though. Deep down I have a nagging feeling it's not really fair. Jah Lush
Oh, if we're going to be like this I played a couple of times for south London schoolboys. Went training at Crystal Palace and for a very short while was a junior at Spurs and was offered a trial at Everton but by then I'd discovered sex and drugs and rock n'roll. Played Sunday pub football too. Doesn't make me Glenn Hoddle or even Alan Hansen come to think of it.Anyway, @UDT - to answer your question about Gerrard turning his back on Nasri's shot I would say he should never have been allowed to shoot in the first place and should have been closed down before he got the chance to do so. But you're right he shouldn't have turned his back. You stand firm and try and block or tackle, neither of which he did. Mick Mac
I used to kick a ball against the wall from time to time. Until I missed the wall and lost the ball. ????
I heard when it got to 2-0 half way over the Irish Sea via our pilot. Bad luck..always a big ask in that group. El Pibe
I was still nervous at 2-0, but that was history nipping at the proverbial heels.Labouring at 4-0 sounds ridiculous, but there were only 10 or 15 minutes where Spain played like spain. It'll still be Germany though. ????
Tend to agree, easily the most impressive teanm so far..followed by Russia. I feel the Dutch still may (could) spring a surprise however. Mick Mac
Last night caused me to question whether Ireland deserved to be at the championships at all to be honest. With bottom half premiership players and lower league players, it was probably a major achievement to qualify, but they did nothing for the tournament. Comfortably the weakest team there.
