Have to disagree re EC vs WC.

As a general rule I much prefer the Euros for the football, though there have been poor tournaments.

Since the WC expanded its a much greater spectacle and has much more of a buzz factor about it, but there is a lot of mediocre football and dead rubbers from the filler teams, and let's face it, by the time it finishes the major feeling (apart from elation when Spain wins) is one o f relief that it's finally over!!!

Anyways, so far so good on this one. Some cracking games I the group stages and a good upset already!

I clicked on it without any problems but you may be right (I'm not too tech savvy) so here's the youtube link to the same thing - bizarre but compelling

tho I was more taken with their response to the Tam Cowan's "joke" about them in the Daily Record-

Not sure what that could be as I clicked on it and it played normally. I took it from a post on facebook. Unless your post has a double meaning beyond my understanding.

Might be able to make a later Ireland game SJ (maybe the semis eh?). Am just back from a boys golf trip so its dinner with the missus tonight, with one eye on the match. Enjoy.

Looking forward to the much anticipated titanic struggle between Modric and Keith Andrews in midfield :'(

Rather disappointing for Ireland. Croatia deserved the win but there was possibly a bit of good fortune to all three of their goals. So perhaps it was an opportunity missed for Ireland and I can't quite see them getting out of the group. Possibly the draw between Spain Italy may help in the end. Who knows.

Irelands game has that dogged feel to it that you get with a lot of Scotland games. Some lucky goals but the Croatians were the classier side. I can see the Irish getting a draw with Italy or Spain - like the Scot's they can raise their game for the big boys.

England tonight - a reminder that Scotland beat France twice (home and away) in the Euro 2008 qualifiers. If we can do it against the odds you'll find it a walk over right?

Consulted my grand daughter, who examined my foot and advised that verruca was very small and looked as though it would go away itself. She checked my feet a couple of months later - no sign of a verruca.
