Trying to think of anything I would trust to that man. I wouldn?t even get him to hold my beer.

How he is/was a trade ambassador is a mystery. Why any charity has him as patron is a mystery. Why anyone invests in his hare-brained schemes is a mystery. Surely now people will see the emperor?s new clothes for what they aren?t?

Apart from knocking around with a (ex) nonce

Isn't the allegation essentially "non-consensual sex"? I honestly don't know if he's guilty of that or not, but it certainly sounds "wrong".

Quite an easy swap, he goes to the US to give evidence and in return Anne Sacoolas comes back to the UK to stand trial for manslaughter (US citizen who used diplomatic immunity to flee after she had hit and killed a motorcyclist, whilst she was driving on the wrong side of the road). I'm more bothered/shocked by the latter story.

No, so much more obviously which is why is being stood down from all royal "duties". You would hope that he is also being removed from the Civil List as he shouldn't be paid.

I agree

Totally agree with this.

Louisa.

Yet legally that's not a problem even if you're a teacher (as long as they aren't under your care)

What, specifically? That the Virginia Giuffre thing is just the tip of the iceberg, and that he was actually a part of a child sex ring?

His defence of ?I don?t recall that photo being taken? is breathtaking. He then goes on to say ?yes that is me? or something to that effect. And whether the girl is in his care or not, she?s 17 years old.

I also agree Maxwell is as deeply in it as him.

    • Could East Dulwich or Forest Hill work? Some properties on Underhill Road and Wood Vale have large gardens e.g.  https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/161079866#/?channel=RES_BUY  You'd be close to the Horniman, Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Transport might not be what you're looking for though e.g. a 15 minute walk to Forest Hill station for the East London line or mainline into London Bridge.
    • I would leave London, or at a push move back to north London. In SE London if you want to get away in a car you are trapped, always an hour to go the first 10 miles, chugging up to the M4 or round the south circular, which is really just a line someone drew connecting a load of roads. and I know there are trains but first you have to get to those mainline stations, unless you only want to leave London to go to Kent. which I don't.
    • It was you who  made it personal in the first place,  Jazzer. You said you didn't feel safe in the streets,  and you said you didn't go to Central London because you didn't feel safe there. So are you now saying that wasn't "personal"? "Fire from the hip." Another interesting choice of words 🙄 I'm not "demanding" anything! I asked you some perfectly reasonable questions in  response to your own statements. None of which you have answered. Never mind. It seems to be pointless having a discussion with you. It's long past my bedtime. I'm going to turn on my sleep app  and go to sleep 😴💤
    • Hi Forumites, This afternoon someone in a dark blue/black saloon car collided with my parked car on Thompson Road, SE22 9JR. I have a neighbour’s doorbell cam footage of the collision at 14:30 19/09/2025 but am unable to identify the registration plate. If anyone has footage of a car travelling down Thompson Road towards Crystal Palace Road at that time please PM me. Of course if the Perp would like to confess they can also PM me. Thankyou.
