I am a bit sad these days to see Brtiney's problems in all the magazines...Just got the idea she should escape LA to move here in east dulwich. I am fine to take her in, i have a study room she can sleep in. I think it would be her perfect retreat in our lovely and quiet area, far from paparazzos from LA. What do you think my dear neighbours?

Isn't Amy a bit of an easy target? And if we look at the old-skool legends (your Keef Richards et al) isn't Amy just a modern version.. She lives as she sings, by and large, and has gone a bit too far and needs help

Britney on the other hand - hmm. I'm never happy with the Little Miss Sunshine (great film btw) world where parent's push kids into "stardom". See also pretty much any of the Jacksons. But despite risque early singles Britey has portrayed a "wholesome" image which was untenable. As it falls apart I feel for the human being - but the values that put her there may be under a smidge more scrutiny

I said as soon as she had an early single out - was it something like "Lucky"? - that she was in trouble. I don't think someone that young in that position has many real allies

I feel so sorry for Britney (not enough to employ her as an au pair you understand), she was virtually sold into slavery by her mother, and has genuine paralels (how am I to be expected to spell that damn word with drink taken?) with Michael Jackson. Amy on the other hand I feel sorry for because she will be finding it hard to work out who her real friends are, and is probably receiving threatening emails from people who are clearly local to her. She is probably feeling genuinely threatened. It is Amys children I feel sorry for, they didn't ask for any of this, and who will come to Freya's birthday party? (hic...thud...crash)...

Amy's lifestyle is something ppl look up - I have a friend who live on the floor below her and he thinks her "madness" is incredibly kool, even the odd stuff she does. Yes I know I quite clearly have strange friends... but apparently, according to many a person in the gay community, she is much respected. Whereas... Britney... does anyone really care about her? :s

Tis a strange world we live in.

*wanders off munching toast*

Why does it matter if people respect her or not, she's a human going through a crap time. Agree with the parents pushing her in to stardom bit, which reminds me, Amy's dad is a knob, he was moaning about her being done for possession as it might hurt her career in America... so she should be above the law because she's famous? I make no judgement about people doing drugs, but don't moan about it if it comes back and bites you in the arse!

    • James  may have initiated the boards but there would have been a group of people who would have taken in turn to keep boards up to date. When locks and boards were vandalised  it took some while (around 2 years) for the council to repair/replace and many of the group who maintained them, moved/died. I know James was not seen so much in ED due to  family  illness/bereavement  and I believe he also changed his job.

Consulted my grand daughter, who examined my foot and advised that verruca was very small and looked as though it would go away itself. She checked my feet a couple of months later - no sign of a verruca.
