Sad news that actor Bob Hoskins has announced his retirement from acting as he now has Parkinson's disease.

His baffled/resigned/angry/scared coupon in the final scene of The Long Good Friday is one of my most enduring cinema moments ever...still, hes not been all that busy since Super Mario Bros has he.

He done a nice feel good part in "maid in dagenham" not too long ago, and as a child of my generation he was great in "who framed Roger rabbit".

Long good Friday and Mona Lisa are my favourites though.
