Louisa, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried, the kebab shop did not close down, Yilmaz's son in law is just changing it into a sit down area and wine bar because he was fed up of getting home at 5 am as i mentioned earlier in this thread. Yilmaz bought the place in Peckham for his other son in law and called it the same name quite a while back now as the two son in laws did not get along working together on LL and split the partnership.

I live just around the corner & walk past every day, & I'm still not entirely sure what it's meant to be. For that reason, I'm not surprised if it often gets overlooked by passersby. Prior to all of this, it was Oriental Star - a wonderful Chinese takeout run by lovely people, & we were genuinely sad to see it go. It took a long time to find anything in this area that came close, & honestly, I still don't think we quite have.
