Yilmaz was closed down because they have a take away over on Peckham Rye at the top end of Rye Lane.

Yeah they took over the old chip shop, but it's still a bit like a chippy that also sells Kebabs as opposed to a proper Kebab shop if that makes sense.

Kebab and Wine do falafel Jeremy - that's what I always order, has to be with houmous too though

Louisa, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried, the kebab shop did not close down, Yilmaz's son in law is just changing it into a sit down area and wine bar because he was fed up of getting home at 5 am as i mentioned earlier in this thread. Yilmaz bought the place in Peckham for his other son in law and called it the same name quite a while back now as the two son in laws did not get along working together on LL and split the partnership.

Just had a meal at the Hisar with some EDF chums.

Food was excellent, service was polite but rubbish. It took an hour for the main course to arrive after the starters were finished.

My first visit, so disappointing.
