Deactivating yourself is the equivalent to walking off, then walking back, staring at everyone before walking off and this time slamming the door.

Traditionally that would require a few more door slams before he'll be satisfied, and then sheepishly asking if he can have a biscuit.

Agreed.

Seems pretty obvious there's no way he'd have walked away.

Admin asked him to stop "winding people up" and gave him a "final warning" last week. Now he's deactivated.

Shame. I hope he comes back.

My personal theory is that UDT is compiling a thesis on the benahiour of on line forums, their tolerance, what presses buttons, what types respond to his brand of provocation and what this says about our on-line social life. As it happens I think EDF generally came up trumps. On the other hand, if he was for real - well it doesn't bear thinking about. So I won't.

I love the fact that you, Dave CPR, are so unaware of how another can be affected by something that does not personally affect yourself. Blissful ignorance. Lack of Empathy. Cold hearted.
    • Not fair on the patients or the consultants, either.  My brother's an ED consultant and he is on his knees - they all have the flu but have to work through it, because it's so busy at this time of year. Adding the strike to this just makes everything feel even more impossible and he's pretty low right now.
