How am I going to work out your concept of irony when you when you struggle to work out the basic concepts of spelling, punctuation and grammar?

If you are challenged, then I am fine with that.

This is a genuine question. Please educate me. I strive for knowledge. Thanks for the input.

I'm sure the good folk of ED will forgive any error on my part

Spelling and grammar aside, the message is still crystal clear

Yr stll a prz knb wth a gn

(see, even in text speak it still scans)

"Trying to have a debate with someone who rewrites what people actually write, is not for me I'm afraid, and you just make yourself look stupid El Pipe"

glorious irony.

And my advice wasn't pompous, I think the word you're looking for is condescending ;-P

Don't worry, I'll let you have the last word, I know how much you like to.

You've lost your marbles girl.

How can I edit people's posts?

If you look here you'll see it's word for word thanks to the marvels of copy & paste

You've been a bit unhinged lately, has UDT hacked your account?

You took a post of mine, quoted it in your own post and added words.

Anything [and we are talking guns here] that tips the balance in the favour of the victim and rids society of another scummy thief [ie kills him] is blah

I did not write the words in brackets.....that is YOU putting words into MY posts....duh.

How old are you? 6? Trying to provoke some kind of reaction from me? And I am not biting ok?

Oh for goodness sake.

Hello *taps your thick skull* anyone home.

I was trying to point out to you how your sentence can only be inferred one way.

It's called annotation.

I've tried to be reasonable and explain my points.

You've resorted to calling me stupid, [unwittingly] giving me a hilarrrrrious nick-name and suggesting I'm a coward.

Go on, keep it going, cover yourself in more glory rather than do what I'd have done and put my hand up and said "yeah, that sentence doesn't get my point across, let me rephrase it".

You only have one final step to fulfil, say that it's because of my low self-esteem and your journey to the dark-side will be complete.

Hysterical now?

Any interpretation is your view only El Pipe...not an absolute.....and as I have pointed out, your understanding of that statement was wrong. Had you asked me to expand to clarify then I would happily have done so but no, you insist you know better, resort to sarcasm and dictate, and ridicule me for challenging you on it.

Really? All time low? Are you sure about that? I can think of many really awful exchanges that don't involve myself or El Pipe. But those often at the centre of those exchanges are also those that contribute most to debate so it's horses for courses.

Unless one of the courses the horses are right for is the entree - in which case it'll be the bloody French complaining about the way it's cooked.

(veers off on another tangent)

    • I've read this thread and made notes! So many useful tips! Would anyone have a recommendation for  a place that sells good quality topsoil that would also be able to drop from a tipper? 10 cubic meters minimum. Thanks in advance and any further advice on garden centres with good selection of shrubs/climbers would be welcome, I plan to visit them all. Garden is fully dug up with drainage just put in.
    • I reccomend Crab Salad-I used to have my hair cut by the owner when he was at Blue tit in Peckham...I moved with him to Cs when he opened it. I've had other stylists there when he was'nt available on the date I could make and they're all excellent. Its a nice vibe too-just very relaxed not too 'hairdressery' (If you know what I mean) and I've reccomended it to neighbours and colleages who've all been very happy. Its not the cheapest but nor is it super pricey and they use good products too.
    • I went last week and would recommend. I was very happy to see pricing based on hair length and especially a fringe trim price. I live nearby and don’t need it fully styled / blown out after a cut (curly so usually prefer to do it myself) so I like that it is variable pricing in that way.
