Chillaxed
"i admit, tags aren't pretty, but do come from a very interesting movement"I admit, anyone who scribbles their initials or whatever on someone's wall or fence, ad nauseam, is a complete and utter tool. IngridB
Have any of you seen what is going on at 265 Lordship Lane? The whole house (which is up for demolition) has been taken over by artists and is being painted inside and out. This is part of the upcoming street art festival which runs parallel to the Dulwich Festival in May. There will be a big opening party on 17 May but there is a lot to see before then. cyclenut
I think it was painted over around 2007. Funkymadam, sorry I'm not Flyboy, not seem him for 15 years. I changed my tag several times, feebly attempting to stay one step ahead of the law! At this the time it was Fresmez SEV, brother of Shame. IngridB
Yes, he is Conor Harrington. http://conorsaysboom.wordpress.com/ He is the first artist to paint in the Dulwich Street Art Festival. Reka starts tomorrow, painting the Paxton pub at the bottom of Gypsy Hill. treehugger
I saw that as I cycled home this evening w at about 6pm. The cherry picker seemed to be on hire, but looked expensive, and he appeared to engaged on quite a large and ambitious - and from what i saw, impressive, piece of work. Can't wait to see the progress tomorrow morning. Is this the same wall that the 1985 piece was painted on? If so, how nice....
