Hi Girls,

I really wanted to meet you this week but Joe has a rash around his chest and going to take him to see health visitor this afternoon. Maybe nothing serious, has anyone experience something similar?

I hope see u all next week.

Have a lovely weekend.

Fernanda and Joe

Hi All

Sorry to have missed you last week. Anyone fancy doing something this thursday? I can do either the 'between the naps' time slot (any time from 11.30 until about 2.30) or the 'post-second nap' slot - 3.30 onwards.

does that suit anyone else?

Hi, i can meet up too with Rosie, just wondered whether any of you fancied going to the soft play at peckham pulse 4pm -4.50 slot? We don't have to stay the whole session and then we could go to a cafe nearby on Choumert Rd or there's a 3pm-3.50 slot, or we could have a cuppa first and then go there? x
I've just got an interview for tomorrow afternoon in Central London...it's at 3pm and she said it will be 20 mins...I don't think I'd make it back for soft play by 4 as will have to drop Rosie in soho at boys work then pick her up afterwards. I'm sorry! Can anyone do fri afternoon instead? If not sorry to miss everyone. Again!! Nat & Rosie x

Hi All

Like the idea of the soft play in peckham pulse but have managed to double book myself for tomorrow afternoon - was going to try and rearrange with friend but since it seems most people can't make tomorrow happy to put it off - can do friday 4pm instead, or next week. Anyone up for either of those?

Hi all, I can't make tomorrow but have fun if you go...maybe we could do it next week aswell? I was away a couple of weeks ago and at the health visitor last week so haven't seen you for ages...looking forward to catching up. Fernanda, I hope Joe is better! And good luck with the interview Natalie!

Brilliant, shall we say 3pm cafe viva http://www.cafeviva.co.uk at 3pm for those that can then? Ie Bex and if then see jenny there of meet at Peckham pulse just before 4pm? Interview went ok thanks although I did ramble a bit and realised I had some soggy rusk on my trousers half way through. Nat & Rosie xx

Hi Gemma,

I hope you're all good.

Unfortunately I won't make it today. Nico's not well - he became a bit feverish last night. Was actually meant to be seeing a nursery later anyway but that's not going to be possible either.

Hopefully get catch up with you both - and the rest of the S.B gang next week.

Bex and Nico xx

Hey Gemma, Bex & all,

I won't be there today either. I have my mother coming over to visit. Bex - I hope Nico is ok and makes a speedy recovery.

If you do meet up try and think about what days/dates might work for a little drink catch up. Bex, Fi & Jude all expressed interest. Nat & Rosie xx

    • This is simply untrue. The area is not 2/3 storeys maximum. Hambledon Court is on the other side of tracks from the Jewson site on Burrow Rd, is 8 storeys, and is barely known (let alone bothersome) to most people in East Dulwich. Felbridge House, Petworth House etc on the opposite side of the station from the new development are all 5 storeys tall. East Dulwich Charter (which neighbours the new development) is itself 4-5 storeys (depending on which block you're talking about). What's more, Hambledon Court was finished in about 1978 iirc and no-one has built anything similar around here since then - so the "slippery slope" "genie in the bottle" argument doesn't work either. You can't simultaneously argue that Southwark is too slow in approving new construction but also suggest this will lead to a flood of new high-rise housing! At current rates of approval, we can expect our next 8 storey building to arrive in...2072!
    • I checked - the Hanway Street place was Mandeer - it moved to New Oxford Street I think and was replaced by Hakkasan - very different prices.
    • Suppose it depends on how many Christmas cards from family and friends you’re waiting to receive. It’s been the Christmas period so surely give the post delivery service some leeway. Like Sue I’ve not posted off so many this year but some I still write letters to  e.g my late mum’s cousins and other family  but hey ho that’s something I do and enjoy.  I used to hand deliver Christmas cards to a lot of neighbours on my street but gave up this year as realised that most of them I don’t see or speak to and can only count on a few to call a true friend or neighbour.
