Hey ladies and little ones,

So very sorry for delayed response. We can't make today as we're going to Nottingham tomorrow for a few days and I have a lot to sort out today. Also, Nico's hardly been sleeping at all during the day which makes getting things done very difficult! I hope to see you all next week when I have less going on.

Have fun and see you next week all being well.

Bex.

Ladies

Finally not working tomorrow! Current thinking is to either go to the cinema or less selfishly tippitoes in the morning. Then I wondered if a few wanted to come to mine in the afternoon around 2.30ish/3ish Cup a tea and a slice of cake maybe? Lots of space and toys.... perhaps text or pm me if fancy coming so I can give you my address!

Hi Jude and Maddie,

Hope all's well.

Would love to come although I've just recently discovered that Nico likes to nap at 2pm. I will text you if it looks like we'll make it at a reasonable time. I wouldn't want to get there too late!

Hi all!

Sorry I've not been in touch for a while.

We've been away a bit (doing odd bits of work...bah) so haven't been able to make the meet ups for a couple of weeks. We might try and make it to the cinema today but I just can't imagine how Steff is going to last in there! He's taken to standing up facing away from me shouting at people when we're out and about...

Thanks for the invitation Jude, I will pm you now!

love Sara and Steffan

So sorry to miss this yesterday as my folks were in town but sounded lovely Jude! I haven't made the meet ups in yonks as Iona generally is napping over lunch these days. I was wondering if anyone would be up for meeting at a different time next week or week after (not necessarily on a Thursday), say later in the afternoon, c. 3pm? It works well for us post-nap & would fill the pre-bedtime gap nicely!

Suzie & Iona x

Hi everyone !

Sorry not to come last week , had a manic week travelling all over the place . Would be lovely to see you again suze . I think later may be difficult for a few people because of other children and school runs but I'm happy to go with the flow !

Shall we do the edt again this week ? It was quite nice being able to let them wriggle on the blankets. Happy to go with whatever afternoon time but thinking 1pm may suit most? Would you be able to bring a sleeping Iona suze? If not maybe we can rethink .

Also don't forget 5th December at 8pm for our spring babies night out at east Dulwich tavern .

Hi all,

Suzie, afternoons on mon and thurs (although sadly not tomorrow) suit us too as I'm also keen for Finlay to sleep at home for lunch naps as its the best time to get work done. Feeling a little constrained with routines at the moment with weaning, trying to accommodate milk and mush and naps! Do have nursery pick up but not until 5 ish.

Hey all, just after 11 and just after 3 are good times for Rosie and I too on terms of naps. Having said that, I do still like our 1pm Thursday meet. Rosie will normally sleep on way there and a bit in the pub. I'm happy to go to edt tomorrow Hannah. I'm also very much looking forward to drinking actual wine with you all on Thurs 5th, a week tomorrow. Nat & Rosie xx

Morning! 11am or 3pm would be perfect for us to, though sadly not this week as we are all full of a horrible chesty cough & cold so staying away from people so as not to spread the love! Will hopefully be better by next week.

Great idea re Xmas drinks too but the husband is out on that night so I'm on baby duty. Another time though - perhaps in the new year?

Stay warm & well everyone! xx

Hi All

Best times for us is the 3pm slot - there are lots of fun classes on in the mornings but I find there is always very little on after 3pm. Also am hoping to get someone in to help with freya for a couple of mornings a week so that i can study so mornings probably out for us.

Incidentally, I can't really work out why all the activities seem to be on between 1 and 3pm. We are always napping at some point in that. I can only assume its for bigger babies/toddlers who've gone down to one nap finishing around 1pm?

I can't make 11am tomorrow bex i'm afraid but I can do 3pm - Suzie if you want to meet up let me know and anyone else who is free could catch up as well.

See y'all on the 5th if not before

Hi all !!

I propose 2pm to arrange the majority. Then for the midday napers it is ok and for the late nappers you can join at 3pm we will more cetainly still be there. And the super mummies who have to do a school or nursery pick up you can still come at 2pm and leave early????

Sorry I posted half of my message.

Then Hannah I think EDT is a great place too.

I still hope to come on 5th but will depend on Dads shift at work. But I think it is nice to support that drink idea!!!;))

JennyC and all of you in fact, may I kindly remind you that I opened a baby activity on the Friday at 3pm !!

So dont hesitate to join the fun. The november offer still runs so if you come first time or bring a first timer friend with you the price is only 4.5 each for this month.

More details on the winter offers on the FB page bailamamauk.

Well I will see you tomorrow.

Xoxo

Gloria & Zion

great.

see you all there tomorrow around 3ish.

gloria - thanks for the reminder about your class. I'm not sure whether it would work for us - freya being a) a whopping 10kg now b) wrigglier than a tiger worm trying to escape yet more of my kitchen scrapings... and i'll leave the third reason for the pub but suffice to say slings sit in something of the wrong place for dancing.

However having said that, I clearly wont know for sure until I try it!

see you at the pub in any case

    • Hi Hugo, do you happen to live round here? There are loads of VWs with missing front badges once you start looking for them. If you left a note under the windscreen wiper of each one you see with the above message I'm sure someone would be interested in discussing this with you.
    • well they are all very nice and definitely helpful to me.
    • Can't agree with this, some of them appear totally gormless and can't even look you in the eye or say a word when asked a straightforward question about the membership card at the till. The only cheerful person in there is Tom and he'll proactively talk to anyone about anything. That guy deserves more.
    • The person behind the till won't know about whether or not an assignment of their lease has been purchased by a company like Tesco.  Poundland was sold for a nominal fee so it's unsurprising that the location may close soon. As well, for what it's worth, someone working in the shop is likely to have their job impacted by the shop closing, so having loads of people going and asking them about the potential closing of their shop isn't really nice. "Hey, hear you'll be out of a job soon. Know much about that?" The best resource you all should be using for queries about planning details of new shops is the council's website. As was stated on the first page of this post, there's an application lodged for multiple changes at 29-35 Lordship Lane with the client as Tesco. They wouldn't lodge these plans unless it was happening, or at least extremely likely to happen.    The application is on the council's website here: https://planning.southwark.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=SVW246KBKF500&activeTab=summary
