dont know about anyone else but im a sucker for easter eggs and i finally succumbed to the temptation yesterday and treated myself to a buttons egg (only a small one so i dont feel too guilty). as ever it was very nice but again brought up the question i ask myself every year, why does easter egg chocolate taste different to the common bar of chocolate one would buy in the shop?

it's cheaper! it's like sausages, all the sweepings off the factory floor are melded together into egg shapes.

by bunnies, at night. bunnies dont have the high health and safety standards that the normal factory staff have.

Also all the air trapped inside permeates the chocolate itself. Sometimes one of the egg making bunnies farts whilst making the egg, the fart is trapped inside, and that's what you eat, along with the egg.

True.
