We have been using The Neighbourhood Vet Surgery by Peckham Rye (google, they have good website)and Jane at Catcalls (also good site)has been looking after our kittens for last 2 years and would recommend both. Jane at Catcalls came round, met the kittens before we first left them and will visit twice a day if you leave them when very young.

Also Animals at home. My business uses their animal ambulance service and my partner is using them to feed his cat twice a Day when he goes away for a month in Jan. Other clients of mine have used their pet sitting services, they are CRB checked, insured, established and highly recommended.

Ouch I'm always suspicious of claims like this. If this is a genuine grievance it seems strange you didn't bring up your concerns with the vet directly. At least give them the chance to rectify any of your concerns before slandering them in public . If it was me at Lordship Lane Vets I would see if claims like yours started when a competitor opened their business and ask the ED administrator to investigate.

For what it's worth, Pat The Cat, Mike The Cat, and Sonny The Cat have been pleased, so far as one can tell, with the care that they've received at Lordship Lane vets. ("What did you think?" I asked them. Yawn, look to side. High praise from a cat.)

Ditto Jane and team at CatCalls: Brilliant gang, SO reliable, can only recommend.

I have also been happy with Lordship Lane vets - when my cat suddenly came down with a bad urinary infection they were able to see us as an emergency at 8.30, unlike the Neighbourhood Vets who couldn't offer anything until that afternoon. My husband and I both work so this flexibility from LL vets was hugely appreciated.

    • Ohh dear.  Fireworks can be great fun.  Where I used to live the kids would have firework wars/games.  Watching them was more enjoyable than watching  TV. (Which you could hardly hear due to the pops and bangs).  It's not like anyone/anything could stop them. I would still prefer organised public displays that are affordable.   And I agree that fireworks cause problems for wild life, pets and people.   It seems to be one of those things that just happens so we have to put up with it.  But it is still not as problematic here as in other areas in London - that's for sure.
    • I made sure to set off a few today just to rile you guys up 😇😂 Always looking for something to criticise
    • Ugly...maybe..does it bother me..NO! I think its somehow reassuring to see theres still phoneboxes around. East Dulwich may  be getrified but there may well be some elderly people who don't have mobiles and kids who may have lost theirs adults ditto etc etc. I'd rather keep it than lose it...just because i don't use it does'nt mean its not needed.  there are many eyesores in the modern world not all of them as potentially useful.
    • I strongly recommend Balayage salon in Lordship lane as everytime I visit, they make me feel very spicial with thier profisionalism and care.   I have been going there for the last 10 years maybe more, and will never exchange them for any other. They are profisional, welcoming and they also always have an offer. I feel like a new woman every time. X
