I would like to add my recommendation for Critter Solutions Pest Control to this forum.

Roger is in the process of helping us tackle a stubborn mouse infestation that was frankly driving me nuts and was clearly requiring a professional service- and we could not thank him enough. He has been very professional from first contact, has always been very clear about how he works, including pricing, and has been very flexible working around our busy family?s time table with regards to his visits. He clearly knows his stuff, is very friendly in contact, answered my many questions with regards to pet/child safety, and is serious about ?getting the job done?- so much so he offers a 18 month warranty!

We?ve been unfortunate to have little visitors in the past three houses we?ve lived in. Fortunately Roger from Critter Solutions was recommenced to us and has sorted it quickly, efficiently and effectively every time.

Roger knows his stuff, is a pleasure to have round and is always eager to solve the problem in the best possible way.

Couldn?t recommend highly enough.

I would also recommmend Roger from Critter Solutions. He was extremely helpful from the off and came round within a couple of hours of my call to investigate some loud noises coming from our eaves. It seems it was just a bird rather than a squirrel as I'd feared. He blocked up the hole where the bird was getting in and, even better, he didn't charge as it was a quick and simple job. A really nice man who struck me as being very knowledgable and trustworthy.

I can not recommend Roger and his son Oscar at Critter Solutions Pest Control enough. We used them to help with a rat problem in our basement a year ago. All the work and blocks they put in place then have lasted brilliantly. However over the last week I started to hear suspicious noises at night through our bedroom wall and feared the problem had returned. I rang Roger who was unable to answer but immediately replied through text. I explained my concern and went to go about various house jobs. I heard the phone signal a reply but didn?t even have time to look at it before there was a knock on the door and Oscar was there. 35 min after my original call to Roger the problem had yet again been dealt with and will be followed up in a couple of weeks. I know it was obviously circumstantial that Oscar was working nearby and I was at home at the time but outstanding g customer service and great, reliable company that stand true to their impressive 18 month guarantee!

Having had a shocking experience before with Craig Brown at Browns Pest control who seem to be still scamming people all over dulwich according to reviews on here. Critter solutions are hugely worth their money and I can?t recommend them enough!

Do NOT use Craig Brown!!!!!

I can highly recommend Roger at Critter Solutions for giving excellent advice about problems with pests. He have fantastic advice about our problems with rodents and wasps yesterday.

It is obvious that Roger is an expert at dealing with pests. It was also reassuring to have several cost effective solutions recommended.

His local knowledge helps too. We will be recommending Roger to all our friends and neighbours.

Thank you Roger!

Roger came round to deal with what we thought was a wasps' nest but turned out not to be! He was incredibly helpful, professional and considerate, gave us great advice and was a pleasure to deal with.

We'd definitely recommend him to anyone with a pest control issue, and will absolutely contact him again if we have any similar issues.

Yet another fan for very good reasons.....Rats!!! Not the most pleasant creatures fighting and smelling under the floorboards and the flies above the floorboards. In comes Roger, I see everyone calls him Roger like a long term friend. Well he is like that, great company while casually getting on with the job. He has years of learning and experience. He knows exactly what he's doing and won't let go until the varmints have gone. Seriously very impressive and a very nice guy.

Another recommendation for Critter Solutions! They respond so quickly and will text instantly even if they can?t speak on the phone. They are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and have really helped us out with a mouse problem. We?d had trouble for a while before and had to keep calling a previous company back out. This has not been the case since Roger and his son visited. The 18 month guarantee is a great sign of how confident they are in their services and very reassuring to someone who previously wondered if the pests would ever be gone!

I absolutely recommend Roger and his son at Critter Solutions, extremely thorough and knowledgeable and of course there is peace of mind with the guarantee. He is responsive and resolved our initial issue and made recommendations for preventative measures.
Adding a strong recommendation for Roger and his team at Critter solutions. Responded to my cry for help swiftly and efficiently. He knows what he?s doing and has been extremely diligent in explaining what he?s doing, what works and what may not.

Yes 100%! Critter solutions sorted out our mouse infestation about 4 weeks ago. I was dubious as there are plenty of ways for them to get in our house but haven?t seen anything at all in the last month!

Plus, the 18 month guarantee gives real peace of mind.

Another recommendation from us for Roger @ Critter Solutions. He was happy to come out to look at our mouse problem during all the corona virus craziness. He was very nice and knowledgeable and dealt with the problem quickly - thank you! I would definitely recommend Critter Solutions.

Another recommendation here - we had a problem with mice in our kitchen which we discovered soon after moving into our new flat. Roger was quickly on the case and communicated efficiently throughout the process. It is a family-run business and his son Elliott came for three visits to look into the issue. We really appreciated his efforts to keep a 2 metre distance during these difficult times and so far it looks like the job has worked. As set out above, they offer an 18 month guarantee as they are confident that their methods work which gives you some reassurance. Would definitely recommend.

Hi,

Another recommendation here. We had tried to sort the problem out ourselves but were getting nowhere. Called these guys and they were at our flat within 2-3 hours. Very professional and reasonable. They talked us through the steps they were taking and explained what we could expect from the process.

Everything went exactly as they said and we are now rodent free!

Cannot recommend them enough, fantastic service, very friendly, competitive price with an unbeatable guarantee.

    • I thoroughly recommend Jay from JK Electrical Contractors who is an NICEIC registered. NICEIC is the UK's leading certification body for the electrical contracting industry and conducts regular audits and assessments on all its members. It is the specialist trade body which certifies professional electricians.  Jay completed the installation of a 19 way consumer unit for us and works to the highest standards and our entire electrical installation is now fully compliant with 18th Edition of the electrical wiring regulations. Before installing the new CU he traced and corrected faults that had developed over the last 25 years -some of which were my DIY bodges that were non-compliant.  We now have an installation that is 100% safe and  reliable . His contact details are :- 0208 150 6450 [email protected] Here is what he installed for us.
    • I fully support this petition, however it will need to be shared far & wide to be effective. Also there is always a huge amount of interest / objection during the festival, but not so much when they start consulting for the next one, usually around January. It's crucial that everyone that has been impacted makes their voice heard then.  A couple of points which may be good to include in the wording (if it is still possible to amend?) - The total tickets sold are way more than 3000. The licence allows a capacity of up to 9,999, but this may include staff & performers etc. The published attendance for 2024 was:  Friday – 8,999 / Saturday – 9,512 / Sunday – 9,422 So that's c.28,000 people trampling & littering our park over three days - people who have no need or desire to take any care or consideration of our park.  - Gala claim for 2024 that "62% of all ticket holders were from Southeast London and 18% of these were from hyper-local postcode areas SE15 and SE22." So a bit of maths shows that means that around 89% of attendees were not what most people would term 'local'... - Gala have ambitions / plans to extend the number of event days to 6, over two weekends. They applied for a licence for this in 2024, but then withdrew it. Instead they added a "free" event, billed as a community day, to the existing 3 day festival, thereby increasing the event days to 4.  This would appear to be an attempt to set a precedent for increasing the number of event days, and it's inevitable that they will attempt to secure the 6 days they desire for 2026, to increase their profits further. Two weekends in a row of noise, disturbance & disruption would be unacceptable, plus an extra c.18,000 trampling & littering the park... - The site size has been increased. The claim is that it is to compensate for lost storage space due to recent flood alleviation works, but the area has increased by more than the area lost, and appears to have been used for attendee activity rather than site storage. Gala have often stated that the festival can only be located in the park because the footprint has been designed specifically for that area, and yet this year the footprint had been amended & extended without any apparent issues. Surely this proves that it could be relocated?  Apologies, I just can't help going into rant mode on this issue, but hopefully some of the above may be helpful in increasing the argument presented by the petition?
    • Best to just get in touch with the council. You need to see what works were approved and the scope.  It's probably advisable to get an independent legal survey (not a standard RICS) and look at current condition, what they said they'd fix, if they did what they said and what the problems are with what they did. Was it just your flat and the other flat mentioned? Asking in case there's any other leaseholder/ tenant involved
