Like the turds on the street, these threads are hard to miss.

I am still not sure what the purpose of moaning about poo on the forum is. It wont move the poo.

Contact the councillors directly (details regularly posted on the forum), or speak to the owners at the time (where possible).

Perhaps the purpose could be for those of us who have a dog to prove their innocence and thereby remove themselves from any associated opprobrium. So here goes:

I have never walked my dog down Beauval Road. If I did and it crapped I would pick it up.

Will others follow my example?

Yet again we have an inflamatory thread with an implied group aspersion as its subject line.

I am not a dog owner. I do feel that continually singling out any group in society is not appropriate. Even if then limiting your wrath to "just the bad ones".

Just my thoughts.

I'm with Lane Lover (again). I read this because the title was 'Dog Owners' - which I am. I have read all the threads on dog sh*t and I have not noticed any less of it around. You are wasting your time - we ALL hate it, no-one thinks, 'ooh goody another pile of dog mess'....Clearly the lazy assholes aren't readers of this forum, or they are and they don't care. But people constantly moaning about it in threads such as this as opposed to getting in touch with whomever can suposedly make a difference, really is a bit tedious.
I know many responsible dog owners and accept my post was borne of anger BUT please do not say we should let it pass as it happens and can't be altered. I have said sorry for the generalisation but do not care who I annoy if I continue to complain about having to throw away decent shoes because a limited number of dog owners behave like arses? As long as there is one ED dog owner who refusesto clean up then people have the right to complain

To be fair to OP, lots of threads on the EDF are essentially not going to change anything at all ever, but they are still here. We rant about stuff we want to rant about, probably without expecting much to change. It's just the way we are, innit.

Lots of love,

Crap Clearing Dog Owner.

Agreed. AND if a bit of venting makes someone feel better about a genuine issue then what's the harm? No one's forced to read the thread...

    • You literally just edited your earlier reply to remove the point you made about it being “politicians”.  Then you call me pathetic.    I’m  not trying to say you approve any of the ugly right wing nonsense.  But I AM Saying your earlier post suggesting  violent rhetoric being “left wing” was one-sided and incorrect
    • I never said that. Saying I don’t like some of the rhetoric coming from the left doesn’t mean I approve of Farage et al saying that Afghans being brought here to protect their lives and thank them for their service means there is an incalculable threat to women.    Anything to score a cheap point. It’s pretty pathetic.
    • To be fair we are as hosed as the majority of other countries post-Covid. The problem is Labour promised way too much and leant in on the we need change and we will deliver it and it was clear to anyone with a modicum of sense that no change was going to happen quickly and actually taking the reigns may have been a massive poison- chalice. As Labour are finding to their cost - there are no easy answers.  A wealth tax seems straightforward but look how Labour have U-turned on elements of non-dom - why? Because the super rich started leaving the country in their droves and whilst we all may want them to pay more tax they already pay a big chunk already and the government saw there was a problem.
    • You don’t think there are right-wing politicians fanning this with rhetoric? Really?
