MMMMMMMMM yesssssss..........

Ahhhhhh - Spike............

Josh Hartnett in wotever he does...

I met him last year at work - didn't recognise him at first with the whole Ali G reject boi thang he had going as his clothing but then had a lovely chat wiv him (after deliberately bumping into him on the stairs) :-$ I had to hold on to the pillar as me knees were going weak. oooooh yeah baby!!!!

  • 6 months later...

His head is too big and angular. And he looks like his hair is dyed. I'd like to say more but I don't want to ruin it for the people who didn't stay up for the next episode last night. (Proving how sad I really am)

Alhough Mr. Carnell - if you really are Richard, I'd love to go on a date.

David Tennant as Doctor Who is the only one of those I could even contemplate dating if we are talking about the kind of date that might end in a kiss.

If we're talking about the kind of date which is only kissing then I could take James Bond in the form of Daniel Craig - as a person I am sure Craig is a nice chap, but Bond himself isn't an appealing character to me - too macho.

Rest of them sound more like dates for the over 50s, not over 30s to me (but I do tend to go for younger men...)

David Duchovny, specially since I heard he had gone to a sex clinic....

Sally Rogers who plays Jo Masters in The Bill (to satisfy that side of my curiosity...)

Pierce Brosnan but mainly for the character in The Thomas Crown Affair.

Renee Russo (for the same reason as Sally Masters!)

I've always had a soft spot for Tim Roth.

And.... (blushing profusely) Richard Gere since his hair went grey.

AND.... Roger Waters (who sometimes looks like Richard Gere).

Yeah, and George Clooney. MrRose looks a bit like him sometimes; certainly his eyes.

And I always fancied Richard Dreyfuss when he was about 40 to 50.

Michael Keaton.

Anthony Hopkins at the time of the films Magic and Elephant Man.

Tony Curtis at the time of The Persuaders.

And curiously, Michael Mansfield QC.

Well, if we are ignoring the list and coming up with our own, I would pick

David Tennant (still)

Ben Chaplin (was in the first series of Game On and my favourite chick flick, The Truth about Cats and Dogs)

John Cusack

David Duchovney

Dermot Mulroney (esp in The Wedding Date)

Adam Garcia (as in Coyote Ugly)

Jack Davenport (more in Coupling than in This Life)

tall, dark and handsome seems to cover it.... did I hear someone say stereotype?? :-$

If I were to break the mold slightly and go for someone fair, would pick Paul Bettany as in Wimbledon (seriously nice body) and George Peppard as he was in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Thanks :-)

What/where should I know John Stewart from? The name isn't ringing any bells for me.

Oh, I will add few more to my list - both Danny Wallace and Richard Hammond have that certain something. Not drop dead gorgeous but very funny and I love their enthuisiasm.

And Ben Shepherd on GMTV is also rather cute.

And thinking about current series of Strictly Come Dancing (which I get very addicted to), Tom Chambers is lovely - so was so sweet the way he was so excited about his wedding. And Mark Foster is such a nice chap - wouldn't expect an Olympic athlete with the body of a god to be so shy - would imagine he could be rather arrogant. Come to that Tess Daly's husband Vernon Kay is lovely too.

Oh and returning to Hollywood, Harry Connick Jr (singer and played Grace's doctor husband in Will and Grace) also appeals.

And for a bit of cradle snatching, Joshua Jackson (Pacey in Dawson's Creek) is attractive when he avoids doing the beard or dyed hair thing. Expect that's mainly the character I liked - the bit of a bad boy but good deep down.

Hmmm, I should stop before I get carried away here. Shame pretty much all of them are already taken. Still, I don't suppose it's their marital status that is the primary explanation of why they aren't queuing up to date me eh!!!!

    • Blank canvas is best, people have all sorts of ideas/furniture/vision boards to get on with.  Clean. Crisp. Neutral. If anything, dressing with freshly baked bread, and flowers makes subtle difference.
    • I'd like to post a recommendation for Jerry Oscar of H.F.U. Ltd.   Jerry has just completed the renovation of my bathroom and I’m so happy with how it turned out.  My bathroom has a strange layout (with about a quarter of the room/floor space un-useable due to the stairs underneath), but he came up with some great ideas that have really made the most of the space - somehow he turned the room into a tardis and made room for a bath (previously only had a shower) AND even given me extra storage. He's a magician!  I felt he really cares about what he does and treated the project like it was his own home. He was also great to have around – super friendly, easy to talk to and raise any queries or concerns with the project, and he was very respectful of the space. He kept his tools tidy and made sure the bathroom was still usable while he worked, which made a big difference day to day. He doesn’t cut corners and clearly has high standards.  I’m honestly so pleased with how everything turned out. If you’re looking for someone reliable and skilled, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jerry. He does kitchens too, and if I ever redo mine, I’ll be giving him a call. • These Gents are amazing, we asked them to come and paint our whole house interior and fix a number of issues from previous paint jobs. They are professional, clean up after themselves and pay attention to every detail. Their work is outstanding and I can't recommend them enough, Brian and Malachi are incredible.
    • Fabion is an experienced plumber. I was connected with Fabion through an App when I had an emergency issue with my water tank in the loft. He fixed it.  He also came back to replace my taps in the kitchen. Since then Fabion has been able to help me with the following:  1. Putting up blinds - immaculate 2. Dismantling and reassembling beds x2 (30 mins flat)  3. Taking down big old doors Extremely professional. Clean - never leaves a mess. SO fast. Attends when he say he's going to attend. Friendly and kind.  I cannot recommend him more highly.
