Old Barbers next to roundabout

This was closed down a few months ago now, does anyone have any updates on what is happening to the premises? It is a shop with basement, so perhaps it has the potential to become an Italian restaurant with nice outside seating area... Would certainly spruce up the roundabout area of the lane in my opinion!

Great throughfare there and whatever opened would certain be welcome. A few shops round there serioulsy need a re-vamp.

I wandered past yesterday and they were showing round potential tenants (and the newsagent next door as well). I guess there's still plenty of options there... Quaywe?? Snorks??

So is a small contengient from this forum, interested (following from another thread) kicking in some cash and investing in one of these retail propoerties and come up with an idea for a good business?? There must be enough knowledge to do something here??

as i said, its already locally owned by a rather disagreeable charachter - IMHO of course - maybe other differ.

But the location is iffy and its a bit pokey for a food establishment

Thanks for re-iterating...however the lease is up for offer at Hinderwoods Hunters Payne. So i am guessing that the "rather disagreeable character" has decided to let it go.

I am pretty sure I know who the freeholder is/was. If the owner is who I think it is, why is he 'disagreeable'?
