Best takeaway in East Dulwich?

Any suggestions on the best Chinese / Indian / Thai (even sushi?) takeaway in East Dulwich?

They need to deliver.

Funnily enough with a name like deliverance they don't actually DELIVER TO a lot of East Dulwich.

Google Hungry House and you can place orders via them with all local delivery places (that are signed up with them). Pop your postcode and chosen cuisine into their site and they tell you who delivers. You don't pay anymore than with the takeaway itself and Hungry House send out offers from time to time 20% off etc. All legit - I assume they get their revenue from the takeaways advertising through them.

Hungry House won't let us order from some local places. For Indian food we have decamped to curriesonline.co.uk, which has a much greater selection.

I thought Deliverance (for Thai) was awful..

Mirash for curries

Cafe Noodle for chinese

Thai Corner (ok)

Or Fujiyama in Brixton deliver noodle/japanese type stuff

It was a million times better than any Thai food I have eaten in any ED restaurant!!!

What about Sea Cow - by far the best chippy in the area, and can hold its own as a fish restaurant/take away

Two Sisters in Nunhead for deliveries. Their chicken dhansak and nan breads are excellent.

There are no good curry restaurants in East Dulwich. The best authentic curry is the Jamaican goat curry from Rice and Peas on Grove Vale. Cooked on the bone and utterly delicious. They also do good jerk chicken, but they don't deliver.

I agree most of the curry restaurants in East Dulwich aren't great. We get our indian takeaway from 'India Gate' in Forest Hill, they do deliver to East Dulwich and the food is fantastic

They say they welcome feedback, so try complaining!

Interestingly, the last Thai meal we had from there was not such good quality as we'd had previously, and I note from their latest menu that their whole Thai range has been revamped ......

Spice Republic is my go to place for Indian takeaway. Everything I have ever ordered has been excellent.

Try the new Indian takeaway by ED Rail Station, i think its much better than the restaurants.
