What with all of the tensions in the world, and the feeling that the weather is about to turn.. I felt the need for some refried beans, some fiery red, and a cold beer


* dusts off a stool *

* pulls up to the bar *

* thinks about waking the barman, decides better, and pours his own *

* starts reading... *

*swings open doors*

*nods to everyone, removes Sheriff's badge, everyone relaxes*

*strides up to the bar*

*orders whiskey, drinks whiskey*

*orders another whiskey, drinks whiskey*


It sure is mental out there at the moment


*pays for drink, tips barmaid, strides off in the direction of the distant gunfire*

    • Miss Robson is the last of the old school independent vets. All the chains are have seriously hiked their prices over the last few years which now makes pet ownership only possible for the wealthy few. Even with pet insurance -( which often excludes items or has ‘deductibles’ ) it is just so much money. A visit with some medication is often £150 - £200. The vets themselves are excellent.
