Yeah, I have a a fair bit of the same stuff. My favourites also include the Congos album and the Dub Gone Crazy LP too. What I love about dub is that there's so much out there, so many tracks and albums all from this small islamd in such a short space of time, but a seemingly limitless stream of militant and spiritual music.


I wonder - have you heard an album called "Flesh of my Skin" by Keith Hudson? I've been trying to get a copy (CD or vinyl) for ages, with no success. The vinyl will now be ultra-rare, but it was re-issued on CD several years back.

You can get a CD version of this on Amazon.co.uk. I may well get a copy myself as I don't have it. I got Pick-A-dub years ago though which is great.

Nice stuff Asset.

If I'm going to cast my mind back to the seventies which are sort of hazy for anything other than sandpits, climbing frames and interminable drives to Madrid in a fiat 127, I can drag up this classic

I'm not sure why, but Rod's croaky tones put me in mind of two things.

Firslty was do you think I'm sexy, the second was Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

btw, when my mate worked for GMTV and was on location in Dubai killing some time playing footie on the beach, they were approached by Rod Stewart of all people who joined in, was a bit nifty with the ball and a thoroughly nice guy by all accounts!!

      So your remedy for anyone harming an animal, amongst which I assume you include at least all insects, is, well, to kill an animal. Good and logical call. Hyperbole only gets you so far, you know.

      From what I have gathered from Bradbury Oak residents  I have spoken with, that at a meeting with RNIB earlier in the year, none of the residents were in favour of new build. There is the implication that rent rises are anticipated to help towards building costs. Rent is currently in the region of £300 pw - as with most sheltered housing (council and Housing Association), Since these rents also include maintenance charges, utility charges - Housing Benefit is only applicable to the actual 'rent element' per flat.

      At the Dulwich Hill SNT meeting last night we spoke about Met. Engage. Dulwich Hill had signed up 185 households. Scheme  had been trialled in other parts of the country successfully and now the Met. Police are rolling it out, To the end of August, the Met Police had gathered 17,000 registrations which equites to 2% of households.
