She's moved to the dreariest, most featureless road in the world, TM.

Nothing has happened here since the last hairy-faced maniac sent bombers to hit the parallel railway line in the 1940s, and they all missed and hit the neighbours instead.

Hence possibly the slight nervousness.

I think Peckham Poet might be right though. Don't know if there's less traffic or if it seems that way because enough people know the policemen are there and slow down.

I've noticed the decrease in traffic on Ivydale. I think that the 6 months of roadworks HAVE had an impact. It seems people have had to find alternative routes to get to where they want and they haven't returned. I've even managed to find a parking space on my road several times, rather than having to park around the corner in Limesford.

I have noticed that it is quieter on Limesford Road - not the 'rat run' that it used to be. I don't think it has anything to do with the police there but the roadworks that closed Ivydale and then Limesford.

It IS safer walk up from Nunhead station during the week now (tu)

    • Corbyn was unelectable - he got trashed by Boris who was a buffoon. It was a good job too because I would have hated to see Corbyn and his rag-tag bunch of far-left university politics backbenchers try to lead the country through Covid.  It is completely understandable why Starmer and the Labour Party want to purge Momentum from within their ranks and Cllr McAsh has fallen victim of that.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
