Brockwell Park paddling pool open or not?!

Hi, does anyone know if the paddling pool area in Brockwell Park is open at the moment (with or without water!) I can't remember how early on in the year they open it!

It's always possible to get in, but the water usually goes on in May.

Hi - water was on yesterday, but the gates were locked!! Didn't stop us and everyone climbing over though!

Everyone was climbing over locked gates! Water wasn't on in main area so looked like rain water collection & a bit grubby!

We were at Brockwell Park this morning and the gates were locked and no water, the toilets in the playground were also locked which was a bit rubbish!

Does anyone have any updates about when this will be fixed?

Not that it's stopping anyone from going in, but the stagnant fetid water is pretty 'orrible and probably a health hazard for the kids playing in it yesterday.

Southwark council site was devoid of any info as far as I could see.

The water is on in Wells Park if that helps (363 bus stops at the top of the road, walk down).

I went on Friday and it was open so I don't see why it wouldn't be open, I'm going to go today also

Yes, it was all up and running yesterday and not as busy as one might expect, which was nice.
