examples please.

Traffic today was particularly heavy in all surrounding areas but mainly due to the large convoys joining the fuel protesting. I think a lot of people got confused with all the tooting and got themselves annoyed too... maybe just a bad day to mention angry drivers...?

*edited coz my use of past and present tense is rather appalling*

This one is ED specific, whilst the other one clearly mentioned Peckham in the opening post. Come on Sean, keep up for Christ's sake!

no, I was expecting more than one and, to be honest, carnage. Seeing a driver insult another driver is not an excuse to bring in traffic calming measures. Anyway isn't the digging up of Lordship Lane for the next 3 months going to calm down traffic enough?

oh and the other reason I mentioned the joke word was because I was accused of not seeing the humour in another thread Sean#2 started

As for why drivers generally (be it in Peckham or ED!!) appear to be misbehaving - maybe they are panic-buying petrol after the recent industrial-action?

    • @NewWave I know how you feel. Like you, I've lived and spent prolonged periods of time in some pretty crazy places and always thought I could handle a bunch of kids. But, no - they got to me and I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. That's what age does to us.  But I did engage with them, so bear that in mind.  My advice would be to never let anything like that stop you doing the things you love. I'm certainly not going to stop using the park, there's no way they get to take away our cherished spaces!  If you see them, just change tack and keep out of their way. My dog won't even go that way again, so that's that problem solved. (If I see them again, I'm going to keep taking photos from a safe distance).
    • Truly horrific. Being passive or fighting back is what many of us think about by violent theft.
    • What ridiculous waste of money
    • Lots of good primary schools within reach of there. Fairlawn, Goodrich, Ivydale and Horiman. Secondary schools you will definitely get into the Harris Academies or Sydenham Girls or Forest Hill Boys, you might just be on the boundary for the East Dulwich or North Dulwich Charter but it changes every year.
