Also a returning customer. Greg has arrived quickly in response to a couple of plumbing emergencies. Latest response was a cracking 20 minutes (he happened to be passing). He had to remove bathroom tiles to solve the problem, made sure I understood the issue first, and did a neat and tidy job. Confirmed replacement hardware was suitable and installed it as soon as it arrived. Responsive, professional, reasonable prices and a lovely guy all round. Highly recommended.

Another endorsement for Greg. I called him first thing after water started dripping through my kitchen light fitting. He came straightaway, immediately understood the issue and fixed it. Incredibly efficient, neat and tidy, and charged a competitive rate. Will definitely be calling him again and would highly recommend.

Couldn't agree more with the recommendations for Greg and Raven Plumbing & Heating. Swift and accurate communications, speedy diagnosis of the issue with our ancient boiler, and a well-priced solution identified and put in place. All topped by friendly and helpful face-to-face interactions with Greg and his team. Thanks again, guys!

Excellent service from Greg and Raven Plumbing & Heating. He quickly diagnosed and fixed multiple plumbing problems from replacing a tap, fixing a radiator and sorting out a wate issue, with great communication and fair pricing. We even had an unexpected leak from our washing machine that he sorted on the day. Grey was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend

Another recommendation for Greg, who we found through the forum.  He sorted a leaking tap that was driving us to distraction.  He's great on communication, scheduling and is up front with his pricing.  Definitely will use again.  Raven Plumbing and Heating 07955656941

Highly recommend Greg from Raven Plumbing & Heating, who I found through this forum. He was immediately responsive, great communication and super speedy arrival time, even on a bank holiday! Thank goodness for Greg. I had an awful situation whereby I was notified that water was leaking from my flat into the flat below me. I was 150 miles away at the time and had a panicked journey home not knowing what I was going to face.   I called Greg (after seeing reviews on the forum) as soon as I arrived home in the evening and he arrived just after 10pm and was able to shut off the problem. He had to come back to finalise the job which turned out to be caused in a communal area whereby there was a blockage in the stack pipe.

Greg worked quickly, efficiently and informed me every step of the way as to what he was doing and why. He also cleaned up really well afterwards.  Greg's charges are very reasonable and he will definitely be my "go-to" if I have any other plumbing issues in the future.

Highly recommend Greg, he managed to unblock a really tricky pipe trying a number of different methods. Felt like Greg was invested in sorting it out and updating me throughout with what the next steps were. Prompt, efficient and went the extra mile!

Another recommendation for Greg at Raven Plumbing and Heating.

We found a leak at around 2pm, found this thread on EDF so gave Greg a shot and he arrived at 4pm and all (four!) leaks fixed by 5pm.

When it’s an emergency, you worry you’ll be taken advantage of financially, but reasonable pricing and Greg gets the job done without any fuss. Thank you!!

Greg (+44 7955 656941) has been our go-to plumber for the past couple of years – and the one we always recommend to local friends.

He’s been with us this week fixing an upstairs heating issue, and it reminded me it was about time I shared a recommendation here.

From smaller jobs (like thermostat replacements) to more complex problems - he's consistently great: clear, direct, highly knowledgable, responsive, and fairly priced.

Highly recommended.

Highly recommended by us, too! Greg has helped us out of a couple of tight spots, often at very short notice. He extended the life of our old, ailing boiler at first - and then did a great job of installing a new one. A good communicator, always tidy, and competitively priced. Thanks again, Greg!

    • It required legislation to identify the beneficial owners of properties in the UK held by overseas companies - and these still haven't been properly disclosed - ownership of things isn't just a google search away - and to suggest otherwise is not to understand how capitalism works. Unless you (cyclemonkey) do have access to that knowledge and would like to share.
    • "Mysterious owners" 😆  If only there was a powerful search engine at our fingertips to find out such deep secrets.
    • It's the "due to commercial reasons" line again that is vexing. Last year it seemed, although there was a similar level of objection, that the reasons were commercial - Gala didn't appear entirely prepared to run 3 more events, or more likely didn't have sufficient interest from other promoters / organisers who could 'sub-let' the site as with Brockwell Park (I believe?). This year they appeared more organised, had another year to plan & prepare, to the extent they actually had names for two of the three new events which indicated to me that they had third party promoters / organisers in place.  So yes, it does make you wonder whether the repeated level of objection, combined with the impending elections, led to the council 'advising' that maybe they shelve it again? I'm afraid I can't see the whole extension application just being a ruse to guarantee permission for the 'regular' event. Gala are a commercial venture with ambition - every festival's business plan is to expand, expand, expand, year on year on year. Gala won't give up until they have taken over the whole park for a Summer of Raves, and the mysterious owners are on their yachts counting their ££££
    • Thanks for that. Maybe forthcoming elections have stymied the 7 day request? If Labour get back in, do we think GALA will try with greater success in 2027?
