Your food always looks gorgeous Supergolden!

So this is very cheeky, but I was genuinely very surprised to find out yesterday that my blog had made the short list for an award. If anyone would consider taking a look and maybe voting that would be lovely! You may find another blog you know on the voting form too...

Just voted. Was I too late? Good luck!

By the way, think we met at Daisylet's Women in Business event a couple of months ago. Love your designs and the detailed effort you put into it. Best wishes, Obi

By the way, how is everyone getting on with the blogging? I'm on one blog a month at the moment, and that seems the manageable pace for me right now.

I've just had my latest one on Imposter Syndrome - Are most successful leaders frauds published on a Coaching Directory. Here's link to the blog: http://www.objcoaching.com/most-successful-leaders-are-frauds-true-or-false/

Feedback always very appreciated! Any other updates?

Sounds and looks yum!

Thank you to all those who have voted in the crafting awards (see my post on page 2 if you want to vote, there is still time, voting closes on 9/10th June, not sure which..)

@supergolden yes I did vote for you, pleased to hear that you are a finalist!

Do you know www.grenglish.co.uk she is an ed mummy and she will be presenting at a big bloggy thing soon, maybe you know already?!

I went to Food Blogger Connect conference over the weekend. Was sceptical about going and ticket was expensive but so glad I went. If any of you blog and want to take it further I really recommend attending something like this - I left full of drive, great tips and enthusiasm. Plus meeting other bloggers was so great.

PS: coffee competition on the blog now - really good coffee xx

Thank you ever so much if you voted for me at Britmums - I won! It all feels extremely surreal.

I have compiled a top 10 tips from Britmums Live conference on the blog - hope you find it useful (especially useful for those who are starting out)

Am trialling a new Delonghi multicooker on the blog - there's also a competition running right now to win one. Will be very interested to see how it works - especially during our long awaited kitchen refurb which may (or may not - can't believe it is!) be happening soon. Terrified of being without a stove :/

    • Invitation to Expectant Parents: Infant Observation Are you due to give birth this September or October? Would you be interested in taking part in an Infant Observation with an NHS honorary psychotherapist?  I am an honorary psychotherapist working with adults in the NHS (Adult Complex Needs, Tavistock Clinic). I need to conduct an Infant Observation as part of my NHS training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. By taking part, you can contribute to mental health services and our understanding of human development from birth. Infant Observation is an established part of psychoanalytic training. It allows for the in-depth study of the early life and development of babies in relation to their caregiver(s) in their home environment. I am looking for expectant parent(s) who would be interested in taking part with their infant from about 6 weeks after birth, ideally beginning Oct/Nov 2025. The observation would take place for one hour each week during term time at the infant's home at the same time each week, to be agreed between myself and the caregiver(s), for the duration of 3 academic terms (roughly 9 months to 1 year). My role would be to non-intrusively observe and reflect on the infant's development and communications. The work is a requirement of my training at the Tavistock and would be supervised by a Tavistock clinician. Parents and caregivers can gain support and insight from taking part at this important and unique time in your baby's development. I work with adults in an Adult Complex Needs unit in the NHS, and at Tavistock Relationships. I have worked in a psychotherapy community for survivors of human rights violations where I helped establish a mother and baby group for refugee and asylum seeking mothers. I have a Phd in Literature & I am a contributor to the London Review of Books. I am working on my first book, a history of childhood. I am coming towards the end of my psychotherapy training having already gained a postgraduate diploma in Psychotherapy from the Tavistock NHS Clinic and University of Essex. If you would be interested in taking part with your infant, please respond to this post. With thanks, Mary Hannity
    • Like most of us, I'm guessing they didn't look into thoroughly
    • It was implied, if we are talking about the candy shop comparison.
    • If there's something iffy with the organisation, how come The Plough has it in its car park? Are they being paid shedloads of money to have the bin there?
