woodrot
"virgin say im due for a 'free' upgrade - i can choose any on their website. what should i look for?"...being tied into another 18 months of contract with that bearded prig branson would be top of the list of fings to avoid Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/33157-whats-the-best-phone/#findComment-652983 Share on other sites
El Pibe
"what should i look for?"I hate to be circular but I guess it depends on what you're looking for, what type of phone, what are your priorities, call quality, battery life, music, camera etc.Right now HTC One is getting the best reviews of the latest top end smart phones. I got the Galaxy S4 the other day which is very jolly nice too. MarttiMalmi
I can tell you that best phone is Nokia 7110 with WAP (a bit like "internet" on your phone ok?) and sliding cover like the one you can see in the matrix with keenu reevs. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/33157-whats-the-best-phone/#findComment-653030 Share on other sites
Kailyn
I like my samsung galaxy S3 but it depends on what you'll use it for. Do you use your phone for emailing/facebook etc? Or just for calls? What size do you want? Are you bothered about looks? Dopamine1979
Stick with your current phone (if it still works) and get much cheaper monthly rates. No such thing as a 'free' upgrade. Too Good To Be True
Google Nexus 4. I've owned both iPhone and Samsung Galaxy in the past. Nexus just as good. Half the price and without all the Samsung own brand rubbish on it. malumbu
I neeed to move into the mid 2010s but don't want to increase my very low monthly charge. Views on entry level smart phones please.I was a very early adopter funnily enough of mobile telephony but unlike my kids still see it as the means to speak to people on the odd occasion. uncleglen
I would research as much as possible on line (btw O2 have the best reception in my experience) Then narrow it down to 2 or 3 models according to what you want then go to the shop to get the feel- I did this 2 years ago and got an HTC Desire S- battery lasts most of the day unless using the gps or flash on the camera.
