A sour puss at Pretty's restaurant

I went to Pretty's restaurant on North Cross road the other day and lo and behold this sour puss of a waitress served us.

SHE WAS SO RUDE AND OFF PUTTING ...

you would think the nice weather would put people in a great mood ... NOT HER!

How exactly was she rude and a sourpuss? I've only ever had excellent service from the staff in there and find your comment very surprising indeed.

I was just as surprised as well! I have been eating there for quite a long time too.

her attitude was really off putting and I am not going back there if I see her waiting tables.

I think instead of giving me the wedge of lemon in my water she ate it :(

Maybe she was feeling hot and bothered. Not saying it's okay, but I know I wouldn't fancy that job in this weather.

I have allways found the service and staff most pleasant friendly and helpful could have been a one off strop.

I need more specifics on how the strop manifested before I can make a full assessment of the situation.

Maybe her dog died or her boyfriend left her or someone's sick or it's the time of the month or a million other reasons why someone might not be happy and smiling. Everybody has off-days and it's really unfortunate when your job needs you to interact with the public and you happen to feel pants. However sour she might have been, it was about her, not about you. You have my sympathies insofar as it isn't pleasant to get service sans smile, but you need to be a bit understanding sometimes and starting a thread about a waitress being in a bad mood comes off as a bit high-maintenance.

Rubbish place imo, ate there once, not again. And look at their hygiene score! Jah is friends with staff in their so he would say that.

Be nice to see you post something positive about a business or in fact anyone one day. Perhaps that's asking too much. What a total misery bollocks you are.

I went to Pretty's a few weeks ago for the first time and was charmed by the extremely friendly and obliging waitress. I also really enjoyed my lunch.
