ed_pete
Seem to be clearing it up from the garden on a daily basis due to the number of cats in the vicinity.Any sensible and proven deterrent ideas - and I don't want a cat or a dog (or any other animal for that matter). fatcats
Do you know which neighbours own the offending cat(s)? If so you could politely request that they invest in a litter tray for it. We bought a supersoaker to stop a neighbourhood cat from terrorising one of ours. I can't guarantee its effectiveness but I think you would find it quite satisfying to get a direct hit. I've heard that lion poo is quite effective. I think you can get it in garden centres. Although how you know that is 100% genuine lion poo is anyone's guess. Other than that my nan always used orange peel and put in the flowerbeds etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34582-cat-poo/#findComment-664940 Share on other sites

uncleglen
There is hope. Apparently there are so many cats and not enough territory so they are developing stress-related complaints like skin problems. Hopefully they will start flinging themselves off roofs and tree tops! HonaloochieB
ED Pete you might try shitting in your own garden. Human shit would surely give puss pause for thought. And be more readily available than the lion poo FatCats suggested.Though lion shit, if possible to source might be more effective than the poo. Mands
Are you sure its cat poo and not fox poo. Cats like to cover their poo whereas foxes will crap anywhere. This weekend alone I had fox poo on my front door mat (which I trod in before I knew it was there) and then a fox shat on top of my aviary whilst my birds were in it!!!! cella
I have the same problem but find that using moth balls have reduced the problem by about 80%. Cheap & effective (cats cant stand the smell apparently) - available from hardware stores for just over ?1 a bag. Hope this helps. Oxalis
I had lots of fox poo in my garden. It stopped when I started spraying Scoot fox repellent around the perimeter of the garden.
