Thought I'd reply too as we went ahead and used him. He was fantastic - meticulous and careful. We unfortunately have some paint damage which won't go, but he got the majority of bad stains etc out. And he will come on weekends which is very helpful! Will definitely use him again.

I found Sylwester on this forum and he cleaned all the carpets in my house and did an excellent job for a very fair price. He is an extremely hard working and pleasant young man and we were so impressed with him that we are now using his house cleaning service for a regular weekly clean. He tells me he does all sorts of end of tenancy cleans and one off spring cleans. I have not used him for these service but based on what he has done for me so far, I can highly recommend him.

Sylwester just did my carpets, arrived on time and was very polite and professional. Quoted ?70 then came to do the job at very short notice. He then said that as it was quicker than expected he would only charge ?50! Fantastic, I recommend him and will definitely use again.

I called Sylwester last week having seen this post on the forum and he's just been and done an excellent job in cleaning our carpets following building work by some very inconsiderate builders! He's finished more quickly than originally expected so adjusted the price according. Very pleasant and courteous guy, I would definitely recommend and will use again.

    • Ha! After I posted this, I thought of lots more examples. Screwfix and the hardware store? Mrs Robinson and Jumping Bean? Chemists, plant shops, hairdressers...  the list goes on... it's good to have healthy competition  Ooooh! Two cheese shops
    • You've got a point.  Thinking Leyland and Screwfix too but this felt different.
    • Moving into a new place and need both a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, ideally collection Friday. Thanks!
    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
