Refreshingly correct use of "an".

I saw waitrose being blown from its putative site in ED all the way to Peckham.

Is this a storm in a teacup. Just saw a BBC newsman in Cardiff interviewed in a Berghaus jacket, looked like his hair was dry and unmoving but someone had brushed his jacket with warm olive oil to give it a wet glazed effect. Nothing happening, go to bed, no storm coming.

M Fish.

couple of small trees/bushes on east Dulwich Grove out on street and lots of branches have been torn down.

Couldn't use one of the walkways at elephant and Castle as a whole tree had fallen and blocked it off

So looks like we missed the worst of it - but it wasn't nothing

I have to disagree here. An horrific would only be correct if you were pronouncing it 'orrific (not sounding the 'h') which you well maybe be - so don't drop your h's please. If you are pronouncing the 'h' it should be a horrific.

Thank you. As you were.

If McCash really thought his defection could trash the Labour Party nationally, and it was loaded with invective and exhibitionism, then that's pretty much the definition of a "hissy fit"! Scooping the Green nomination for DaWN constituency is also going to be a lot harder for a Marxist arriviste than you suggest. There may be a wave of new, younger Polanski-ites that have joined the Green Party of E&W recently, but it's the long-standing, often retired members of the Party that tend to participate in candidate interview panels and bother voting in selections...
