charliebubs
I note there's a street briefing meeting due on Friday (1 Nov). Why hold these on a weekday lunchtime when most people are at work?! Linz
I'm guessing Marmora Road is outside of the ED ward? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/37986-plain-clothes-patrols-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-692101 Share on other sites

unlurked
If the police did their job then kits wouldn't be needed, and that is regardless of cuts. Never any resource issue looking after G8 e.g. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/37986-plain-clothes-patrols-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-692371 Share on other sites
uncleglen
Unlurked, I think you are being unfair- the police do their job. Unfortunately there is a hard core of 'people' in this country who think they can take and do what they want regardless. What is really needed are proper deterrents (unfortunately all my ideas would be against the perps' human rights) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/37986-plain-clothes-patrols-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-692425 Share on other sites
Ruskin
"If the police did their job .."Yes, very unfair Unlurked. There are plenty of posts to this forum from people admitting they've left items of value in cars, in plain view or doors unlocked. Not saying this is a dominant factor but it doesn't help avoiding getting your stuff nicked. the-e-dealer
Ask the Police what laws they would like to stop crime and how many officers they would need for zero thefts. Then expect a big bill! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/37986-plain-clothes-patrols-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-692440 Share on other sites

polla2256
Are these the same police muppetts that asked me to remove my motorbike from the pavement (as it was chained to a lamp post). Leaving me to park it in the middle of the road - a hell of a lot less secure and prone to theft. Yeh real good police we have.Go Catch the burglers, rapists, thieves, con men, drug dealers and Former BBC employees please !
