Ok so we have threads on kids and mums wish lists but what about Dads?

After 21 yrs together I am finding it more and more difficult to come up with a 'surprise' present.

Can we keep this clean and steer away from the 'wrap yourself up' line, remember this is the ED Forum and not Mumsnet!

Good luck.

I consider myself open minded but the whole beaker incident was wrong.

He likes music, films, cooking and comedy. He is a professional photographer so is pretty much gadgeted up in that respect.

Mid / late 40s.

I think he likes frivolous useful presents rather than needed items.

How do you go about buying one of those, the bikes not the socks??

Plenty to work on guys thanks :)

I have a friend who received just one too many bicycles for midwives in Africa from her mother for her birthday and flipped out a few years ago - has been getting lovely smellies ever since. Once or twice would probably have been ok but I think the annual predictability became too much. She tells the story well.

    • I'm utterly baffled as to why anybody thinks this is newsworthy, let alone worth a front page. The economy has barely grown for 20 years and the housing crisis has been worsening for a similar time period. Note to any journalists on the forum: maybe focus your headlines on important issues.

    • Harvey and Wheeler in Dulwich Village? Only one I know… How can they offer to apply and never did? Surely; whether they are managing the property or not and with tech been so advanced I would have thought they would have been a couple of e mails sent as a reminder or, is it the Landlord’s responsibility to apply… Rental Law/ Bill has just come  into force  - can’t remember if it was this week or last and have been to busy to read.. However, will as assume it is not individual councils but all councils. Came up on Which on line.. Good point Jen Jen Jen - sure some knowledgable person on here can throw more light than I.
